A good throw and he catches it walking into the EZ.

I really like the movement, first within the pocket and then when he moved, Hurts created a new pocket.

Just some random comments for people who didn't watch the game and have no intention to do so. I find myself being more annoyed at the result of the game than I probably should. It's ridiculous t

AP is going to the HOF.  Aside from him, unless they just relax the requirements, I don't think there is a single active RB who will have a case.

I mean people always bring up Terrell Davis making it, so if we count that as the bar you probably have like 4 guys right now that you could argue.

Peterson

Gore

Shady

Lynch i guess?

Idk my point is the bar is apparently really low for RBs because everyone points to Terrell Davis in arguments of whether someone is good enough

As a defender of the media, I still thought it was funny. Obviously he was annoyed by his story about the Eagles being concerned about his work ethic.

Well Jeff, golden rule.  Also glad he didn’t answer a defensive strategy question.  Triple score to Fletch in that one for the win.

Only HOF speech I cared to hear was Manning, since he’s usually pretty funny.  But are these guys really on a time clock?  Because he is speeding through his.  No story telling and jokes.  It’s a shame they are making these guys rush through their speeches.   Give them the time they deserve.

I would have loved if they did that to Ray Lewis.

For those interested on the Singleton and COVID...

I suspect that will be a recurring theme across the season. Vaccinated players stuck isolating.

That’s actually good news as unlikely to experience any lingering issues.

He was hurt a lot last year and only played sparingly

So Howie will surely trade for him then

If that's not photo shopped then it's funnier than the failed Ronaldo bust.

Yet lots of backs in the late 90s ave more than ,3.9 yards a carry.

Barry Sanders, Corey Dillon, duce Staley, garrison Hearst, emmitt smith, Robert Smith, fred Taylor  warrick Dunn just to name a few

3.9 isn't impressive, it's slightly below average and definitely not HOF worthy.

This is nonsense.  What was the player’s role.  James, Bettis weren’t long ball hitters.  They hit doubles and advanced each play.  3.8 times 3 is 11.4 yards or a first down.  They did it consistently, play after play.   It’s using what a player brings and Bettis and James brought it consistently.  As to Bettis, we are talking a 250 lb RB.  That’s old school.  In the days of early football for me where the FB was as much of a running threat if not more than the HB, he would have been a goat. Bettis was what Blount aspired to be.  Use the talent.

I mean a 250+ pound 6’6 power forward to rebound?  What have you been smoking?

Use the talent.

Damn. It was photoshopped. That would have been hilarious

The bus was a marketable personality in one of the NFL's favorite legacy markets.

While the ypc is not good, he did play in an era where the RB position was more important, offenses were far less efficient, and reliably pushing forward for 3.3 yards per play with volume generated first downs and wins.

I'm not saying he belongs in the HOF...but he is from an era where I'd be more likely to give an inefficient RB the nod.

Hey I Ioved the bus he was a fun dude fun to watch he was made for espn highlights where Berman would make that sound when dudes got trucked.

And his overall stats are pretty good, 13,000 plus rush yards 91 rushing tds and a super bowl and that 3.9 ypc ave. Is ugly.

I just think if he wasn't a Steeler he probably doesn't get in even though he was a marketable guy with a cool nickname and a great smile, which to some voters is more the reason to put him in.

Very. My brain didn’t process it right away and I thought Driscoll was in at LG

One can say that about any players, should Darren sproles be in the HOF because he consistently brought what he was being used for???

I'm not saying Bettis wasn't good, I'm not even saying I didn't like him, he was one of my favorite non eagle players.

I'm saying Im not sure he's a HOF back and if he is guys like Corey Dillon should be in.

I can say this bettis is more deserving of the HOF than troy Polomolu.

Again good player great guy very marketable played for USC and Steelers won a super bowl numbers don't match up with other safeties in or not in.

Why isn't Deron Cherry in the hall but Troy is???

Hurts being Hurts.  He's never been known for his passing prowess.  His game is hero ball.

So is that "known” from four games last year behind a decimated OL or is that his 62.9% passing rate at Alabama or his 69.7% passing rate at Oklahoma.  Including his 70% passing rate as a junior and senior?  (Compared to Zach Wilson’s 67.3% in college, Trey Lance’s 65.4% completion rate,  Tua’s 69.3%.  Wentz’s 64.1% in college?). Hero ball?  Now granted, he had some pretty good receivers.
Consistency?  Okay, I will accept that.  Trusts his own legs to much?  Yeah, I will accept that.  Questions on reading speed?  Sure, I have those. But actual passing and completions.  Yet to be determined in the NFL.  Hero ball?  Actually threw the ball away 17 times last year.  I think you have him confused with Wentz.   I know, I know.  All those QBs look alike.

Na Brown. I think you were probably riding a tricycle to remember Na and his training camp glory.  I consider it the training camp WR award.

I remember him vaguely. The name more than anything.

Quez will make the team, but he won't contribute like people think he might, IMO.

I remember good old na brown. Right as i entered teenage years. I remember Chris t jones being built up with hype too. I feel his downfall was more due to injury if i remember correctly.

Definite shame. Honestly I’m still confused with Reggie brown. Good rookie year then a very good second year. Got paid and regressed for 3 straight years and never heard from again. It’s like he got paid, was ok in 2007 then just didn’t want to work anymore.
