Just some random comments for people who didn't watch the game and have no intention to do so. I find myself being more annoyed at the result of the game than I probably should. It's ridiculous t

Wow I see social media has had quite the effect. People are literally trying to dump people after what? 5 games?

Which player on my list are you referring to with this response ??  Dillard ??

That hasn't helped in the past.  Shouldn't go with it this year either.

Are you sure?

One could imagine things being much worse hadn't we held joint practices.

While that is true, not sure why the Eagles did it.  Sure, they opened up cap 7.2 million in cap room for this year, but if he is traded, all the void years cap hits accelerate to 2022, leaving a dead cap hit of 7.2 million.

That’s going to happen regardless whether they trade him or not at this point

We deal in deception here . What we do not deal in is self deception  😂 😂

Can you just answer the question in a way that the rest of us can understand ??

I mean Hurts exists.

Give me a combo of Vick and Rodgers and we’re set.

Brady’s ability to put the football where the receiver is going to be not where the receiver is.  If you want where the receiver is go with Brees.

No it can't

Where are all of these thoughts of trading him coming from?  He'll play meaningful snaps at some point this year.  He's just not better than JM.

If he's not starting he isn't a part of the future. He can only play LT. It's rebuild year at least in my mind so I don't care if he plays meaningful snaps. If they can get a worthwhile asset for him, do it.

They're not playing any games yet that matter; what is the harm of both players competing through camp?  Should Seumalo sit out the season because he isn't practicing at all in camp?

Then why have an unofficial depth chart at all??

Why not list 2 or 3 names at each position as potential starters?

QB1 Flacco/Hurts/ Mullens.

RB 1 Gainwell/Huntley/Howard/ Johnson/ Sanders/Scott.

WR1 Fulgham/Hightower/JJAW/Reagor/Smith/ Ward/ Watkins.

WR2 Fulgham/Hightower/JJAW...ect.

Like I said I get it's an unofficial chart but if one is going to slot say lane Johnson as a starting RT and Cox as a starting RT why not name Mailata the starter??

Oh yeah because Dillard was a 1st round pick and Howie would look like an idiot if he wrote off his future starting LT after 2 miserable seasons and a poor camp 👎

Sounds like a boring day. These are the only tweets I've seen in the last hour and a half besides injuries

I think because Dillard can't or doesn't play any other position other than LT so if he's not starting having just a backup LT is a luxury the eagles cant afford

I don't think Dillard is awful I just think Mailata is a lot better

There's no way eagles will get any kind of return value for Dillard I can't imagine he'll fetch any more than a 4 the round pick, but who knows there could be a team out there desperate for LT help and they could do far worse than Dillard and maybe he just needs a change of scenery, Philly can be rough on players and his mental toughness was questioned before he got here.

We'll see.

I just think there are far too many young OL on the roster that can play multiple positions to justify keeping one who only plays LT.

Watch if Wentz’s timeline puts him out until week 4 or 5 they sign Rivers and ensure they protect their first round pick.

I'd take a 4th. I'd also call the competition and have the loser start cross training at RT at this point.

LT only and about a 3.4m hit this year, 4m next year.  A little rich for an unproven backup who can’t play RT.

If the Eagles have to eat all/most of that if they trade him, then they’ll either just keep him as depth or look for a meaningful asset.

If the new team assumes all of that contract, then we are looking at 7th round value if he loses the competition.

Hahaha. Ultimate 2020.  Somebody said something outside your purview?   There's a discount on helmets these days   😂

I was just thinking the same thing. Of all the soft, made-for-Millennial inventions, being able to be "safe” and hide from the bad man’s words has to be the weakest.

(To bring it back to the Eagles:) Buddy Ryan would not approve.

If they can trade him they are on the hook for $1.7M this year and next. Trading team gets him for $1.6M this year and $2.2M next year, guaranteed. Not bad for both parties.

Here's my "I'm way too high on this guy, and I know it, Guy"

He looks extremely athletic and looks to be a great tackler.

These reports have been really encouraging. I’m excited to see what he can do in the game this week.

Side note, this has been BY FAR the worst coverage of any year. Don't know if it's because nothing special is happening, beats are just saving it for their podcasts, the team is boring or a combo of all 3.

I can’t say that I see any significant difference in coverage tbh.

Jalen Hurts has 270 team drill reps with the 1's and only 10 TD's for those keeping score.
