August 10, 20214 yr Congrats to Harold Carmichael on making the Hall of Fame! I saw/met him almost 30 years ago when I was a "cart boy” at a local grocery store. I was about 16 at the time and my co-worker said, "That was Harold Carmichael that just came out of the store”.

This year there is hardly anything coming from the beats. A fraction of what we have received in years past. Practice is half as long too a lot of the times.

The atmosphere for the rest of the game was electric. And by the second half when the outcome was no longer in doubt, it was like a party in the stands with 55,000 fans. (The Vikings fans had all left by then.) And for January, it was actually pretty mild, so we didn't have the chill we had to deal with the other two times they won the NFC championship.

Vikings fans in front of us were so obnoxious the entire lead up to the game. Watching him skulk away as the entire stadium did the "Foles/Skol" chant was easily one of my favorite sports moments of all time.

He might have sucked and had a ****ty attitude but Jay Cutler had just as strong an arm if not stronger than Vick. He used to throw it 50 and it would look like he's throwing a 5 yard screen pass.

Charmed life, indeed.
