I had a hard time adjusting to no Art Fleming when Jeopardy was brought back with Trebeck.

9 years vs 37 is a little different.  I get where a lot will disagree with my thoughts, but 37 years of legacy with Trebek is pretty darn hard to topple.  Additionally at the end of the day about 90% of people in here don't matter, the show needs to capture a younger audience.  One person I'm shocked hasn't been brought in is Peyton Manning, I think his persona would fit great with the show.

Just some random comments for people who didn't watch the game and have no intention to do so. I find myself being more annoyed at the result of the game than I probably should. It's ridiculous t

Still think Fleming was a better host than Trebeck.  Trebeck’s interviews of the contestants were cringe worthy.   The new host will be that executive producer guy who was the second guest host.

So a one year wonder with red flags is struggling on a team that blows, has been comic relief for almost the entirety of their existence and routinely fails to develop QBs.

We all get why you posted it, but the irony is it actually makes Hurts look worse, not better.

I mean, Hurts also went days without TD’s in his second year also soooo

Didn't he do this last year? They're late

He’s done it before but this was from today

Yes, I know, ESP but the chart is the focus.   Apparently Sirianni doesn’t see Scott as the flop some posters on here do.   Click on the chart to note what team those carries came on

Fwiw I’ve also heard some say Sirianni is running Scott more because they want to limit Sanders reps so he doesn’t pick up any soft tissue injury before the season starts

Kind of an indictment of Sanders.  I think Kerryon is gonna get a ton of carries this year.

Oh yes it is.

Think about it, when did the GPS become popular?

Answer, when cell phones became popular, they realized that you can use 3 towers, by timing the amount of time it takes for a signal to reach a tower they can triangulate your position.

That's why if you go to a sparsely poplated area your GPS won't work because they don't have 3 towers close enough to receive signals to one or more towers.

Triangulation was used decades ago by the military before cell phones hit the market, research the LORAN (Long Range Navigation) system that used radio signals for their triangulation, there's also another system that was used by the military but I can't recall it at this time.

Nope. It's distance/positioning/timing data calculated via network of satellites. Satellites that circle the earth.

@Moderator5 we have all played nice per your request and you creating a safe space for him.  Why are we bringing this nonsense into the blog.

This small Scott debate is an interesting one.

In an ideal NFL offense...a perfect blueprint, fully stacked offense...ideally, you'd have a backup RB who is a smaller guy, a true jitterbug danger in space who is active in the passing game.  And, ideally, that RB would be better and more dangerous than Boston Scott.  However, those players can be targeted later in the draft and don't take years to develop.  We need to establish the following positions for the future: QB, LT, RT, WR1, WR2, WR3, RG.  So let's worry about that before we concern ourselves with upgrading Boston Scott, who is definitely the 2nd most dependable RB on the roster at the moment.

In a backwards NFL offense built around running the ball...which many Philly fans seem to sentimentally crave...then yes, you've got to do a lot better than Boston Scott as your #2 RB, especially when the #1 isn't a durable high volume guy.  I hope any complaining about Scott as the backup does not come from this perspective.

WTF, reporting to the Mods a comment on GPS where it was referenced in a MPH stat for an Eagle WR.  Yet you quoted Duck Walk, or whatever the F that troll is today.  JFC.

I would like to see a lot of motion to the slot from Scott and Gainwell and maybe even Huntley. The stats on catches v runs for both Gainwell and Huntley almost suggest as much receiver as RB. Encouraged by the numbers and talk about Howard. Seems he may fit that backup role this year.

Kempski polled 25 media members on the Eagles most surprising(in a good way) Eagles in camp and then disappointing.

For surprising, Watkins I think was #1, Sweat #2, Wallace was in there. A few others got like a vote or two, but Watkins, Sweat got most of the votes. Can’t remember if he said Mailata too.

For disappointing Dillard got the majority of the votes, I think 12 of the 25, Reagor was in 2nd place with 4 votes, Hurts had 3. And then a bunch of guys got either one vote or two votes.

After Howie's idiocy, the Eagles now have 3.2 million in 2022 cap room.

is this true??

If you had to pick one, would you rather be given elite athletic ability to be a professional athlete or the gift of musical talent?

Shame Wallace is going to be out for a bit now with an injury.  I'm comfortable with Marcus Epps next to Harris.

Music. They can make a ton of money and as fun as sports would be, you could also suffer some major, major injuries. CTE is a major problem.

No chance. Rivers would want big money and Reich is to smart to screw with Wentz’s mental state.

For sure.  I loved playing football and was lucky enough to do so in college.  When it was over it was over.  But I've never been able to sing or play an instrument and I would love to be able to just pick up a tune and control a stage.

Off topic:

I hate the Dallas Cowboys so much. I’ll watch Hard Knocks because hbo does such a great job, but this is the silliest team and fan base on the planet.  Training camp in California (which I know they’ve done forever). What a f’n joke.  Yet they continue to dominate national media and have zero fans that are actually from the state of Texas.

Since living all over NC since college (and a brief stint in Chicago), I’ve met dozens of Cowboy fans.  To this day I’ve never met one that knows Dallas’s area code.  They’re the most pathetic fans I’ve ever encountered.  F the Cowboys and F all their fans. Fight me.
