F that guy.  There is history, and he got me banned on the old board, when he supposedly had me on ignore.

You need to relax and forget about things.

Youre here now. Thats in the past. And he isnt harming anyone.

Just some random comments for people who didn't watch the game and have no intention to do so. I find myself being more annoyed at the result of the game than I probably should. It's ridiculous t

Everyone knows Carson likes to come back early from injury.  That is his MO.  Come back too early, his body isn't ready and then he either re-injures himself with the same injury or some other part of his body compensates and he gets injured.  I would have more faith in the 1st round pick if he stuck to his proper timeline.

When did he re-injure himself from a previous injury?

Last I am gonna say about it.  He was given a safe space to talk about his flat earth nonsense.  His entire questioning of GPS and his explanation is right out of the flat earth playbook.  Take than nonsense to the flat earth thread.

Is there really a flat earth thread 😂😂

Off topic but short ... I didn't know there was a flat earth thread. Posting in that thread should boot you to some other web page - like falling off the edge.

This is nonsense.

The 5-12 weeks timeline was based on tue complexity of the surgery. Five weeks of it was with the least amount of work done to fix the issue, up to 12 if they had to repair other things once they were operating on him. Sounds like it was less complex than it could have been.

Yup. There's also a pain tolerance aspect to it which makes it harder to nail down a timeline

To get reps with a new offense, very raw and unproven QB.  It just falls in line with how the whole franchise is run.  Secretive and smarter then everyone else.  I guarantee you, he wants to see what his guys have against another team.  He seems like he has the right frame of mind and intentions.  His problem is lack of experience and who he got hired by.

This team is not winning anything this year.  Hiding some plays or their game plan in the pre-season isn't going to be an advantage.

This is the SOP for practically every team in the preseason.

One reason is you're evaluating players, and so you don't want to see what they can do when they take the defense by surprise, but how they do when they're running base plays against a base offense/defense.

And in the first exhibition game, you're still in "install mode," where you want to work on the base offense, once you're confident they have it done, then you start adding twists.

Never heard anyone say they like Joe Buck until today. Wtf is happening?

He is great at calling Steelers games apparently.

Cell phone towers have been goiing up left and right, when they were building the network you couldn't get service in many areas.

You do understand that GPS stands for Global Positioning Satellites and became available when the military made its satellite system available.  Do you really think fighter jets are using cell towers?  Drones?  Guided missiles?

Maybe Buck is one of those flat earth guys

Still embarrassed that a lot of Eagles fans thought it was 5-12 weeks of the regular season

Ready and Rusty. Stumbling out of the gate. High first, here we come.

Felix says it's round, and he jumped from someplace not on earth, down to earth.

Well I did think he was stupid.

Last season the Eagles defense only forced 19 turnovers -- 8 INT and 11 fumble recoveries.  This season I'm predicting 30 takeaways -- 15 INT and 15 fumble recoveries.

My bold prediction for the season, along with the 7-10 record.

I'll go one stop further and add in Eagles will lead the league in sacks

I don't think the lack of separate desks is the reason kids aren't taught critical thinking skills in schools...

May have more to do with standardized testing and memorization  to successfully fill out said bubble sheet to prepares one for a life of menial industrial tasks...👎

You make it sound like being an indivual is a bad thing, afterall, we're all individuals.

Should be interesting to see the new offensive system tomorrow night.  (How it compares to the Pederson/Reid system etc).  I’m assuming it’s still a hybrid of the West Coast offense with RPO’s mixed in?

You won’t.  You will see vanilla concentrated towards what they want to see of players individual skills including flaws.

You have to have a high IQ to understand the nuance of "Looking for a block. Got it." play by play call.

I don't know how Kevin Harlan has not gotten any run for the Monday Night Football gig.  Would make that broadcast 100x better.  Having MLBTV, I get to listen to my local announcers ( I am an A's fan ).  Glen Kuiper and Ray Fosse are outstanding ( Fosse is currently away from the booth dealing with cancer ).  Dallas Braden had been the 3rd man, but is now the game analyst, is freaking hilarious.  A's radio team is also outstanding.

Good thing about MLBTV, is you can watch either cities TV feed, and overlay their radio announcers over the TV feed.  I will listen to the other teams TV and radio announcers.  All are better than Joe Buck.

Good thing about my remote, it has an off button if baseball comes on.
