QBs racking up yards in the no defense Big12 isn't a significant achievement.  His limitations in the pass game are well known. Whether Sirianni can break those habits and build a system to fit Hurts is the question of the season.  We will see, but I fully support staying active in the QB market.

Yeah, his run/pass ratio was similar at OKLAHOMA and ALABAMA, likewise for his W/L records.........Collegiate Stats

I do recall hating to watch Alabama during his stay there because of Hurts' play which I recall being more a matter of what downs the pass plays were called, 1st and 2nd downs are the best.

I just hate to see a QB's talent wasted because the coach didn't have faith in him as a passer, Jeff Fisher damn near ruined Steve McNair's career, he didn't cut him loose as a passer until later in his career, then there was how the Eagles ruined Randall's career, he didn't shine as a passer until he went to the Vikes where he broke records and was a chipshot FG miss from a trip to the SB.

Sirianni should let Hurts throw the ball like he's a top 10 QB, if he fails, he fails, we surely don't have a QB on the roster that would do better, just stay away from asking him to throw on 3rd and long most of the time, that's too much pressure on him this early in his career.

Just some random comments for people who didn't watch the game and have no intention to do so. I find myself being more annoyed at the result of the game than I probably should. It's ridiculous t

If you had your phone on WIP that should have been delayed also.  If you stream a radio station, and listen to it live on the radio, the streamed feed is always behind.  If  you listen to live radio and watch live TV, not a cable feed, they should be in sync.

They didn’t sync up at all. It was horrible. They radio was almost a full play ahead of the screen. I turned off the Radio.

My question is Agholor still considered a bust? He had an nice 2017 and helped us win a SB and is doing good for himself In Las Vegas.

He's with the Pats this year.

You need to do live TV, and live Radio.  You can not stream the radio feed.

The offense missed quite a few beats when he came in.

He's too busy not taking the blog seriously while still posting how right he is all the time to notice little details like that.

He lit it up for 6 quarters, but I wouldn’t diminish the MVP level play Wentz had that year. Foles was not on his level.

6 quarters? He torched the Vikes the Pats and threw 4TDs against the Giants in week 15.

I’m fine with the announcers honestly. I’m not as easily annoyed as most here

To be fair, he was pretty bad against the Rams, Raiders and Cowboys. Offense could only muster 15 against Atlanta in the first round. The rest is history.

Thank you forever, Foles.

What lucky individuals are doing the TV commentary for the Eagles pre-season games this year?

Do you even remember 2017 at your age?

Some hard ships he was knocking off rust from sitting for 14 weeks.

This is stupid

I think its Scott Graham and Ross Tucker every year

Ta.  I couldn't recall who it was. It's been a while

If the player doesn't get injured during the play then they should be able to taunt IMO. It bring out the competitiveness of the sport IMO. I may be in the minority but I think some taunting is good for the game

It's also hilarious when a player does it after getting beat numerous times

These rule makers are slowly turning this into flag football though so I guess we shouldn't be surprised. Soon using a curse word will be a penalty

Ah that’s right. Cam isn’t as good a passer as Carr but I expect Agholor to have another nice year.

I'm fairly confident in saying no one watching actually gives an ish if their is a moderate taunt every now and then. The only one that bothered me was Von Millers hip thrusting

So… he missed a beat?

I was at the Rams game. I was actually impressed foles came in cold and managed to do enough to win the game. Forget he also had an elbow injury that training camp and preseason so he really hadn’t played in an actual game since like week 7 and 8 with Kansas City the year before. He was solid against the giants then nose dived in the raiders game and even the limited reps in the Dallas game. The first half of the atlanta game the football gods were really shinning down on us cause that ball that hit neal’s knee should’ve been picked and we could’ve been in a lot more trouble if he did.

All i know is i got into an argument with someone the day they signed foles where i said it was a solid signing to be a backup QB. Thankfully that turn out to be an understatement.

I think it’s time to throw Avant into the "disregard everything he says” bin.

No. The offense wasn’t all perfect with Wentz either  the Seahawks games shows that.

While Wentz did some stat padding in the 4quarter he struggled that game.

Foles came in and did exactly what I expected him to. That SB Trophy shows that….

That is that tools favorite thing to do. He must be like 18.

Jealous?

There was actual debate about going with Suds or signing Kaep heading into the playoffs because the offense looked that bad down the stretch.

I appreciate Foles for helping win the Super Bowl, but there’s some selective memory.

Really did change the Eagles future. That season alone was Wentz’s undoing and he was never the same. Who would have though that just a few seasons later Hurts would be our QB1?

So Reagor getting some work in the Slot. Wonder if he better off? He may have the speed but does he have the quickness

Tbh not sure the eagles team ever was the same. After that year we had even more injuries and coaching was never as good as that year. Defense never was as consistently good as that year. Even special teams regressed from that point on. Wentz was definitely never mvp-esque but i feel the organization from coaching to living off that super bowl to injuries to players/organization leaking crap to the media really never was the same. The end run in 2018 was the closest to that.
