Just some random comments for people who didn't watch the game and have no intention to do so. I find myself being more annoyed at the result of the game than I probably should. It's ridiculous t

I want to see Fulgham look like he did part of last year

Not so sure he makes the team and if he does, he could be # 6.

Hurts, Rodgers, Burrow, Mayfield, Stafford, Fields...

Let's see, three started for Oklahoma and excelled, Fields started for Ohio State and had a similar college performance.

The other two are proven NFL veterans.

There's no way he's been served salmon that rancid in the jets cafeteria, it would have knocked out half their team and staff and would have been a huge story, he's bought some cheap sushi or similar dumb crap.

Gas station sushi☠️

Hysterical you're comparing those MVP's, Hall of Famers and 15 year veterans to Hurts.

What's hysterical is all the people in here complaining the Eagles might do exactly what all teams have done for the last 20 years and not play their starting QB very much in the pre season, like Sirianni is going to electrify the NFL by playing a wholly new style of offense that might be somehow difficult for the players to grasp and is all going to be revealed in pre season exhibition games.

As I explained to the other Chicken Little, I'm not comparing anyone to anyone, I'm just pointing out that most teams are announcing that their QB1 whoever he happens to be, isn't going to play much if at all.

If that doesn't get through I can try a diagram but I'm not much of an artist.

Hurt's can either play the offense or he can't, playing lots of time against 3rd string defenses in vanilla looks isn't going to teach him or us anything useful for regular season.

And people really think we should be wasting a roster spot on this guy.

That's pretty bad,not only did he false start but then he stands up touches nobody then a DL high fives him and Dillard drops like a sack of potatoes.

He didn't look this awful as a rookie at LT, I thought he bulked up and got stronger???

He didn't get any tougher 👎

I'm sure I just saw the Texans have released Watson?

Oh...if that's the criteria that is needed.  Then what about Tim Tebow?  He excelled at Florida.  So did Ken Dorsey.  Or Danny Woeful.  How about we go out west....Didn't Ty Detmer excel at BYU?  Or Matt Leinhart at USC.

Point is.  Hurts was a reach in the 2nd round and not a well rounded QB.  Those other guys are either stars, hall of famers or 1st rounders that the team needs to protect.

Dorsey actually played at The U, but you are correct.  You can make a huge list of QB's that excelled at the cream of the crop college football programs that flamed out in the NFL.

They would never just straight release him

He is 3rd on the QB depth chart that I just looked at.

edit:  4th on the depth chart

Did you drop acid? Hanging out with DuckWalk again?

Indeed.

Why would he be a moron.......?  What are you afraid of?

If there is even a single called QB running play, then Sirianni is a moron.  I expect Hurts to run, because that's what he does.  But I do not want to see any plays where that's the design.  Not even an RPO.

At first I thought he was being a d0uche but then later on he explained he did not mean any disrespect and was only making a joke.

Stick to your first instinct.

How can so many of our first round picks have questions about their toughness — mental or otherwise?

Agholor collapsed into himself like a dying star.

Dillard cries on the field and all but quits in a move to RT.

Reagor seems to have something missing between the ears.

Hell, drop down to second round picks and Sidney Jones would get heat and immediately grab at his hamstring and hobble off.

Howie knows what he's doing.  Questioning him is just silly.  He's a genius.

Haven’t you heard?  The Eagles have not named a starting QB.

I hope this isn't the reason why Sweat had some amazing camp

That should mend the relationship.

I saw it on twitter and it was a knee jerk reaction. It said per Adam Schefter.

Now look at the twitter account name.  Should have been your first clue.

I think he looked pretty awful as a rookie.   He got manhandled anytime anyone came at him with a bull rush.  He was on pace for an alarmingly high oumt of sacks had he played the full season.  There has always been this big misconception that he only struggled when he was at RT.  He alway got schooled at LT as a rookie too.

An offensive quality control coach called the passing plays in the regular season?

They were 5-8. Gotta let coaches have real time development too.

This is a lie. A BOLD FACE LIE.

When new regimes, and younger QB's are handed the number 1 spot, they receive a significant more playing time.

Lets give some REAL comps(not MVP Rodgers, 15 year Big Ben, Etc to Hurts)

Tua down in Miami is expected to play "significant amount of snaps the first 2 preseason games"

Jarred Goff "Expect Goff to play a full half to help familiarize himself with new OC Anthony Lynn" Latimes.com

Fitzmagic " Rivera wont pull back any of the starters in their first preseason game as he hopes Fitz can gain command of the offense throughout the first half"

I cant find anything on Sam Darnold but I bet he plays North of 20 snaps on Saturday

So stop comparing and generalizing. We have a NEW, YOUNG QB, with a NEW YOUNG OC/HC. he needs all the snaps he can get

Fields and Dalton are both new in Chicago and they're not expected to play much, Eason at the Colts is an emergency starter and is slated to play a quarter,

The last pre season in 2019, the average number of snaps taken by a starting QB was 29.7, only 11 took more than 40 snaps.

2016 Pre Season, the Eagles passing stats leader was Chase Daniel.
