I was going by sportrac dead cap money.

The team acquiring a player in a trade is only responsible for the base salary.

Just some random comments for people who didn't watch the game and have no intention to do so. I find myself being more annoyed at the result of the game than I probably should. It's ridiculous t

Brady has had as much plastic surgery as the Kardashians.

I mean it's better than sexual assault sure, but Thomas is a nutcase. Gonna pass on paying a premium for that drama.

Yea agreed. Liked what I saw in Quez, hopeful in Devonta, think Reagor can be a good 2/3, and Want to see Fulgham. Don’t trade away draft assets right now

You'd have to give up multiple high picks and a good player to get someone like Michael Thomas. Ertz and a 3 isn't going to get it done. Also he has a big contract he signed just two years ago. Ultimately I think he will return to the team and continue playing for New Orleans.

The fuss about that Reagor block is silly - but very much why I've binned off BGN.  Their hot takes have gotten sillier and sillier in the past 18 months.  If you take a snapshot of 10 snaps, you could say the OL are holding and the DBs/LBs are holding too.

Reagor should have caught it, period.  It wasnt a good throw, but it was a catchable ball. Catch it!

He kinda sucks so what can ya do

I don’t really think it was a hot take, I’m a reagor supporter but it was definitely something worth noting on the play. Not a huge deal but noteworthy.

All the O Line stuff happens in a confined space and is hard to see.  The Reagor hold was blatantly obvious.  I was looking for the flag watching the play live, and was shocked when it didn't happen.

Interesting, Ostman got snaps as SAM/DE.  I have a feeling that the SAM as Gannon sees the role is as a hybrid stand up backer that plays like a SAM at points. Looked like Johnson played a bit more traditional SAM on plays he was in.  Bears watching in the next two weeks.

If Scott (CB)doesn’t play better, he won’t beat out Jacquet.  Not real impressed with Adams.  Epps looked better, with the caveat with no All 22,  you only see part of the backfield plays.

Don't get me wrong it is, but for them to comment on it is a bit silly.  Searching for negativity on a ticcy taccy call. Far more valid things to talk about or comment on than that.

Binned off.  Like it. Thanks for bringing it to the Blog.

It's weird that a Super Bowl winning head coach is visiting his former colleagues (Bears, Colts) right?

BGN definitely has is very negative towards things. But it was definitely a hold and could of negated a huge play, Reagor is lucky it didn’t get called. It would of been mentioned in regular season if it happened too. I haven’t read BGN take on it, but another Philly reporter brought it up. Think it was Kempski or Kaye

Nah. Makes perfect sense. Since he’s taking a year off coaching he can still stick around the football world to see what’s going on and learn a few things from other teams while maybe help give his colleagues a few pointers also. Help him grow and evolve as a coach when he decides to get back into coaching gig

One of Doug's biggest flaws is he doesn't have a well-developed coaching network. He should be going to as many NFL and SEC camps as possible.

It's one of those that is given in other games and not in others.  It wasn't NRC vs Saints level on the scale of awful - the commentators did they were letting them play out there.

BGN let themselves down last year.  Way too much clickbait and little sourcing

There were obvious things that the STs groups on both sides were focusing on.  Huntley looked decent on KOR.  Reagor did exactly what a player is coached to do.  Within ten yards of the end zone, let the ball hit, fake the catch and clear out the area.

Yeah, I don't see any valid justification for criticizing Reagor's PR game last night. He did what he had to do. I feel pretty confident in saying that anyone who complained about Reagor's decisions there already had a pre-existing dislike for the guy.

He seems to need just the right amount of something from his coaches. He found it once in 2017 but wasn't able to replicate it. Probably a good idea to talk with other coaches and have some time off to recoup

Definitely needs to work on his play calling

Ah ok. I’ll be honest I really don’t know much about cap stuff. But still at 15 million is Thomas worth it? Plus the draft capital it would cost to get him, I’ll pass.

I will say the Steelers’ punter did an excellent job of a dead ball kick and the coverage to keep the ball out of the end zone was very good.   All in all, the Steelers ST coach had to like what he saw on the punt coverage team but probably not so much on his KO coverage team. Bad lane discipline in the PS?  Not surprised. Eagles showed moments of poor lane discipline as well. Real curious what times you have for Sisposs.

Steelers had one punt that was really really good
