Anyone catch Kellen Mond by chance? Yikes. Not even his own receivers, apparently.

The Vikings look terrible as a team, so it's hard to evaluate him clearly.

Just some random comments for people who didn't watch the game and have no intention to do so. I find myself being more annoyed at the result of the game than I probably should. It's ridiculous t

Theres a lot of people here who can vouch for how much 76ers I watch. But youll just continue to pretend you watch more anyway. It doesnt even matter.

Aside from the 6ers, if you knew what I did for a living youd realize how goofy you sound.

We don't have **** to prove to his moron.  He proves our point every post he makes.

Then that's really sad how low of a comprehension level you have of the game.

Really want to see Smith to get back so we can see the two of them outside with Reagor in the slot.

I sincerely doubt the amount of football you watch if this was the conclusion you came to.

I'm not a fan of his game though. He has the tools you want in a QB, but he doesn't put it together well. He doesn't have a good feel for the game.

Did RTK give his analysis on the pre-season game yet? Since he was at a concert instead, Id love to hear what conclusions he has drawn from not watching the game vs all of the casual fans who probably watched it, but obviously watch far less than him.

% of responsibility for losing the series.

1.  Ben - 50%

2.  Doc - 30%

3.  Losing Danny Green/Tobi not coming up big enough - 20%

Doc is the coach he takes more responsibility.

well now youve gone too far. Ben still has more responsibility on that loss.

Yeah because he's a great O line coach

I'm not sure I would call that era of eagles football a dark time. The 70s was dark, 1999 was dark.

The 1 and a half years of Castillo as a DC was a blip at the end of a decade of eagles football success.

The dark part of that year was coach Washburn, he was toxic and it spread through the whole organization until Reid fired him.

I'll always stick up for Castillo guy was part of some really successful teams and top O lines in eagles history and is a respected coach all over the league.

People on this board always mention that he was out of his scope as a DC without also mentioning he played LB in college and the USFL and coached defense in college before switching to TEs and OL coach.

So it's not like he didn't have any background with defense, not too mention he and Jimmy Johnson used to meet weekly and go over blocking schemes and defensive fronts to combat them.

It's not like Reid picked up a ball boy and made him DC or took a bean counter who never played football and made him a GM.

And like I said for all the flack he gets he did more than McDermott and bowels with the same players all while putting up with the racist Washburn shenanigans, so let's not act like he was in over his head.

Last I checked Castillo wasn't the guy who put together that dumpster fire dream team, that would be the bean counter.

And a not so good DC. Which made the switch even more bizarre. Yeah he had college experience on the defensive side of the ball but it was over 20 years before 2011.

The darkest time? No. The worst coach? Not by a longshot. But I dunno the end of the Reid era was a pretty crappy time for Eagles fans. Went from dream team to the terrible Chip Kelly era quickly and had to say goodbye to a future HOF HC. It sucked.

When your max player barely takes any shot ATTEMPTS in the 4th quarter of a playoff game, he is the main culprit.

I'll meet you half way and call it even.  I hope Doc is included in any Ben trade.

LOL.

Funnily enough I can promise you I have watched more of Hurts than he has, both at the collegiate and the professional level.

Whatever he can casually find on Twitter or anything that was positive in regards to Hurts. Other than that, radio silent.

when you say watched him, you mean went to a concert right? Thats what that means. I learned that today.

Take him out.  Sit him down.  Too bad for him if he is a max player.  I may be passing wind but I think Pop/Cunningham/Riley, etc al would have sat him.

In fairness doc lost game one all by himself with the stupidity to have green trying to guard young all game long. To me doc and Simmons were the two biggest culprits in that series just that Simmons was more glaring at the end of the series where it glossed over doc’s ineptitude.

I’d likely have it

Simmons 45%
doc 45%
harris 10%

i can’t blame green. He’s older and we took the risk relying on a 33 year old to just stay healthy.  Plus I don’t think it helped that doc made him extend as much energy as he did in game one playing defense against Trae Young. I still think that is connected with him getting hurt.

And I was hopeful when Doc was hired....silly me.

I mean, I did manage to find a few YouTube highlight videos and Twitter posts. Same thing.

Ben, Shake and Doc for Haliburton, Bagley and Hields.  Not sure if the money matches.

I was hoping they’d hire someone else from the start. I preferred Sam cassell over doc. Ive seen doc’s track record since that second Celtics nba finals. It’s not been all that impressive. He’s wasted more talented teams and blew series with poor substitutions and coach isn’t decisions.

i wasn’t high on lue but they might have been better off with lue than doc

1 minute ago, Freshmilk said:

me too. But red flags raised right away when he continued the Ben at PG experiment that we all knew failed years ago.

More red flags when he coddled him right away. Ben has openly stated he needs to be pushed. Doc took the opposite approach and made excuses and defended him by saying he is great.

And then... we all saw the coaching decisions.

It's such a Philly thing to have Monty Williams as your assistant and then let him go only to become a great head coach.  Then sign someone overrated.

Speaking of Hurts "perfectly fine" throw to Reagor, go back and watch his feet/body. He's open and facing the sideline. He doesn't step into the throw. If you're going to aim to the sideline, you should at least step towards and into the throw to the sideline.

These are the things I'm talking about. These are things that need to be cleaned up. It's not about Reagor dropping the ball (which he should've caught). It's about the poor mechanics and as a result, a poorly placed ball. Keep in mind he has a clean pocket, so there's no reason to not step into the throw.

But you know, agendas. Concerts. Twitter.
