That's not true.  The guy is among the better analysts for Eagles coverage I've seen.  Better than most "hometown Eagles beat writers".  IMO.

Uhhh, yes it is true. Look at any of his "camp" tweets, he's just resaying what people at camp tweeted out, and then tags them at the end. He's not at camp.

That’s what I’m saying. I could see it being a need if Mailata doesn’t play well this year & Lane is often hurt, but with how bad our secondary needs some help & DE is a position needing to be filled soon I just don’t understand. I’m surprised more draft guys aren’t having us take a QB.

Yup. Sorry @Ace Nova but you're wrong on this one. I’ve been following the guy on twitter for awhile. He’s a good follow but He’s not an Eagles beat, just a famous Eagles fan in Eagles world that provides his analysis but doesn’t get paid.

For some of the plays, sure.  But most of his analysis is his own.  He stayed up for days straight analyzing the "open practice" from live feeds he was getting.  And during the season, I have yet to see anyone do a better job than he does.

I get that but I think Lane has another 3-5 years in him TBH.  Wishful thinking probably but with the way he works out and is trying to take care of his body.  OT should be set.  This team has drafted farrrr too many players in the top rounds as of late who make little to no impact.  

They could potentially get a starting DE, CB, DT and maybe even a QB.  OT is so far down on my list.

Ok, so? He's analyzing warm ups and 1v1's since all media is turned off and reporters can't film anything after that. Big deal. Point is whatever he's saying about camp is just based off other peoples tweets and not his own eyes. Him saying Eagles "dominated" today is literally because he read ESP.

With the state of the current Eagles roster I don't think there's any position that would be 'off the table' at next year's draft.  Just select the BPA on the board.
