I'm sorry, rough couple days man.  Deleted my response.

Understandable.  Trying times, indeed.

I'll say this, instead of bringing politics into it, find a vet and thank the living hell out of them, buy them dinner, buy them a drink, whatever..  A group of American's just watched their entire adulthood crumble before there eyes.  There's a lot of people dying inside right now.

Yup.

Just some random comments for people who didn't watch the game and have no intention to do so. I find myself being more annoyed at the result of the game than I probably should. It's ridiculous t

The Eagles have to keep Howard. He is the big back, , veteran presence with upside for ueard that we need to pair with Sanders. Gainwell and Scott can be the other two.

It appears to be some sort of self-congratulatory tweet.

I've watched this a number of times and it just makes me happy for many reasons:

1. Reagor made a play to help his QB- seems like since 2017 ours receivers made plays to help the QB.

2. Reagor had a step on the DB and if the throw leads him an easy TD

3. The pass is a little underthrown and Reagor had to play through the DBs left arm pushing on him to leap and reach back a bit to make the catch.

4.  Used his hands to make a nice catch.

5. Watched the ball into his hands.

From looking at his instagram, I think it's a nickname for his friend who recently passed.

They have good insight into the players.  I don't think it's virtue signaling.  I think the point about the Eagles about not hiring a black coach was really a kind of dig at what Bo thinks is maybe empty virtue signaling by the Eagles.  I think the point about mandatory vaccines and Slay is simply him expressing a common frustration.  People who are unvaccinated at this point are morons.  Slay is a moron for not getting vaccinated as is Cousins or any other person with access, a significant financial risk and some minimal intellectual ability.  I also think the Eagles, as a private company, could mandate vaccines to attend games and most fans would be happy about it.  If it makes some morons not go, then good riddance.  Stay inside and don't go to games.

Overregulated FDA are morons for not approving some of the most utilized vaccines in the world at this point.  They approve an Alzheimer’s drug that may not even work with way less data than the have on the vaccines. The difference?  By law, the US Is liable to individuals hurt by vaccines but immune from liability for regulatory approval of the Alzheimer’s drug.  Approve that and maybe skeptics like Slay and Cousins might get the shot. Lots of folks whose decisions we each as individuals might view as moronic around. I got the shot but that is because my desire for protection from the virus was greater than my apprehension about the speed in which the vaccine was created.  Now my apprehension was grounded in my involvement in the defense of several pharmaceutical failures over the years.  Purdue does that to people.  Given the clear record of how the medical treatment received by POC, I can see why there is some skepticism.

I think for the Eagles games, the reason why mandatory vaccination entry is bad is for logistical reasons, it's not necessary because outdoor spread is such a low risk.

Indoors would be a different story. Outdoor gatherings have largely proven not to be super spreader events

I know mandatory vaccination/mandatory masks is a potentially incendiary topic. I'm going to try to not start any exothermic reactions. ;-). A difference between typical outdoor events and stadiums is the density of the seating. An outdoor event where people are the vaunted 6 feet apart is one thing, the Linc may be another. I don't know the seat spacing at the Linc (never been there) but I doubt it's 6 feet. There should still be excellent air movement compared to interior spaces and lots more UV during the day but I wonder if that would be enough to limit/eliminate transmission of nasty airborne viruses.

Apparently Mailata smacked him on the head first. Mills jumped offsides and Jordan went to point at him but smacked him so Mills kinda shoved back, but it wasn't anything too serious. At least that's Mailata's side of the story.

Tim McManus recorded the whole thing on his iPhone. Bad decision by Mills.

Yeah and the fact that people will be yelling next to you, and behind you, and people in front of you are going to turn around to yell in your face and high 5 you... theres just going to be tons of droplets flying all around your face all game long. With the uptick in cases due to delta, Im not comfortable attending a game this year.

Ive done plenty of outdoor baseball and soccer games through the spring and summer. But being able to space out at a little league game, or a high school game is much different than being packed in shoulder to shoulder and having everyone around you screaming the entire time.

I’m actually going to the Phillies dbacks game out here tomorrow. I don’t really have to worry about anyone being that close to me because the dbacks are atrocious and not a massive Phillies following in AZ. Can get seats pretty far away from another human lol

yeah MLB should be pretty safe. baseball is boring. and spaced out due to lack of fans. No one there is yelling. Most people are napping.

That's a great catch by reagor, just went up and got it, ripped it away from the db who stuck his arm in there!

His leaping ability is freakish. Even at the end of last season, there were a few plays where he literally created separation because he jumped so much higher than the defender.  Unfortunately, he didn’t come down with the ball too much.  Hope that changes this year!

Even if things were normal I don't think I have the desire to spend that kind of money to NFL games anymore.

It's like 3-400 dollars to go sit with people from TATE.... I'd rather die

This is why i said he reminds me a lot of Chris chambers. Chris chambers was a good athlete and he had an amazing leap ability.

They think it is unapproved for use as if that means anything.  They accept this misinformation because it confirms their fears and they use it to try to rationalize a foolish decision.

I have never seen greater use of junk science than from some members of the plaintiff bar.  How could people possibly be skeptical of the pharmaceutical industry?  Have you watched commercial television?  First the drug advertisement comes on and because of litigation narrates a litany of side affects (my favorite being "if you are allergic to this product, quit taking it”) followed by the advertisements for the mill attorneys "have you suffered because of_________, if you or a loved one took_________ call 1-800-We Get 40% + Costs.  And my industry, underwriting pharmaceutical companies allowing errors and hanging our hats on regulatory exemption to avoid massive payouts. So if you play CB for a living, who do you trust.

There are morons (sheep) that are not vaccinated for political reasons and stupid acceptance of social media misinformation (not tweets from borderline Eagles beat "reporters”), but some vaccine hesitant look at the confusion created by growing scientific knowledge and the lack of actual approval by the FDA and are waiting.  The latter aren’t any more morons than I am for taking the vaccine when available to me six months after others got the vaccine.  I will accept my industry’s role in helping create the skepticism, will you?

I've always been a fan of the pick. Hell, I feel more confident in Reagor having a better career then D Smith....

Yes I know, feel free to fight me!

Next to you, you’re probably 6 inches away from touching them. In front or behind it’s probably barely 2 feet.

Every time I go to a game, I’m reminded how much I’d rather just sit on my couch and watch. It’s so much more enjoyable, and far less of a hassle.

Here's the thread in 411 where I linked to a bunch of the archives that I did before the old board went talon up.

I'm sure that thread was one that I archived, but I won't swear to it. With only 2 weeks to archive and build the new board, I was pretty busy at that time lol. Check through those links (in that thread), and if it's not there, let me know and I'll see if I can dig through some of the other archived threads on archive.org and see if I can find it.

Thanks for all your efforts at keeping the EMB alive.  I wouldn’t advise you waste your time looking in an argument that is akin to my D is larger than yours.  No one really cares who is right in this argument.

Come on man, give us some credit. It’s more like sitting with someone from RnR
