Did you ever throw a teddy bear on the ice? We used to do group tickets in Cub Scouts and the Bears would give us autographed sticks and pucks which we used in Scout bingo. The hosting was great. We went to the old arena and then the Giant Center, which is a great forum (good for concerts too, although I prefer Hershey Stadium - better drinks.

At least they did out here and when i went to the gulls game in SD. It’s one of the cooler fan experience. i also love the AHL speciality night jerseys they come out with. Have had marvel, dc, usa, local colleges and a bunch of other creative ones.

Have been to a teddy bear toss game...pretty incredible experience. I LOVE the old barn. My dad and I used to go and some of my first memories of sports are walking out from the dingy concourse and seeing the bright white ice and the players. We'd sit by the organ with live organist and it was so fun. I would love for the Bears to do a throwback series every year and play a game or two over there. The nostalgia and just the overall atmosphere and old arenas can't be matched no matter how nice the Giant Center is.

Sitting behind the net and watching the game spread out really helps. Intermissions are always fun. For me, I've always been a fan of watching the ice get cleaned. Just a great time. Not trying to change your mind just curious. Well I suppose for me is no one in my family likes sports, like not even a little. So I basically taught myself how to play everything by just going outside and getting in on pick up games. Well hockey was never one of those sports lol. None of those kids or even in school no one talked about hockey or gave a crap about it. When you go 20-30 something years with no one playing it or even talking about it, plus having a family that hates all sports you tend to get discouraged when no one likes any of the other sports you do like as kid. So learning football, basketball and baseball all on my own I couldn't possibly add another sport lol. So that's part of the explanation. So by the time I was able to understand sports and have an actual TV in my bedroom I was obsessed with the football and basketball and didn't really bother caring what happens with hockey. I've tried watching it a few times and it bores the hell out of me. I mean maybe a live game would change my mind, most things are better right live.. hell I freaking loved going to NASCAR races in the Poconos. Now? Haven't watched a race in probably 15 years because I couldn't get free tickets anymore and I'm not watching that sheet on tv lol.

Don’t get like nose bleed seats but solid or good seats. You’ll enjoy it. It’s a much better watch in person then on tv.

And there doesn’t seem to have been any evidence that it as a spreader event. I think if they require masks that’s good enough. I really don’t see an Eagles game anymore dangerous than anything else. Who knows There was apparently a 90% vaccination rate for concert goers. https://news.wttw.com/2021/08/12/no-evidence-lollapalooza-was-superspreader-event-arwady

If nothing else, it will remind people that the archives are there. Plus, it gave me a reason to go down the LII Rabbit Hole for a few minutes and remember that glorious season, that glorious playoff run and that most glorious Super Bowl night when everyone on the EMB was united in stupendous celebration.

Tailgating at football games might actually be better than the watching of the football game. Basketball probably third just cause the technology of tv has made it much more enjoyable. Still really enjoy going to baseball Yea I caught my first live NFL game couple years ago, it was a fun experience for sure but not something that made me want to be a season ticket holder. Still want to go to a home Eagles game really bad

Even though majority was Eagles fans it’s not even close to the atmosphere a home game is. But I agree about a whole season. I’d probably sell half if I had them.

I would buy anyone of them a drink if I could and did a few at chance meetings in airport bars. I also look at all and who we lost or injured and shake my head in shame. None of it found and killed bin Laden and very little of it focused on Al Queda, which is why we went there. Would rather have spent trillions on US infrastructure instead of Iraq’s and Afghanistan’s, too. We have a generation of heroes that I really hope are not forgotten for answering a call to serve in an increasingly unpopular war. I grew up with the Viet Nam War. I really wish with all my heart that the tragedies and miseries faced by those vets don’t visit the current group. I appreciate it, most of you old heads around here are like a messed up little mini family for me. I got my start in here in the blog as a break from patrols on a deployment. As hard as the past few years has been (this ISIS thing hit me a lot harder), I rest a bit easier that despite what a lot of people saw and think from what the news will tell you, we made a lot of impact abroad. For as easy as it is to look at those that were lost as being in vain, the community as a whole is in mourning for the Afghan people. It's truly tragic to see something possibly on the brink of break through gone so quick. The count from Feb 8, 2020 was getting pretty darn high...this is a total buzz kill. We will persevere though, the Nam vets have an amazing community and I'm actually blessed to be leading up planning committee for a reunion out here at the Academy of a large group this fall. I tried to make this post as non CVON/get people riled up as possible. You all have been nothing but supportive regardless of views over the years.

Nice man, I was at the Dolphins game too! Was my first and only NFL game live. My friend and I hit up the beer cart & he bought 6 beers, I was the pack mule. He also had a friend on 50 yard line there on lower levels, tried to see if he had extra seats. Only had one extra seat so I knew I was out of there lol. My group was at our normal seats but the seats sucked, so I Ended up bouncing around the tunnels on lower level everytime security would make me leave while drinking all the free beers. Got really drunk & had a good time lol. Was really surprised how well Eagles fans travel

Frankly, got better things to do. Have a nice day. Why take people head on? This had to be just about the WORST Free agent class in NFL history but "Who was paying attention? " After you trade Fletcher Cox, Graham and youth movement Lane and Brandon, you're going to sign who exactly? 😂 😂 Oh, you think the problem started this year. False. But what I would have done is not push more dead money into next year too. $50M this year and over $30M already for next year. This problem is like a shopoholic maxing out their credit card. The problem doesnt start in a single moment and cant be gotten out of by rolling the debt to other cards. Here's what you do: When trading for older players like Slay and Jackson, you dont rip up their curent deals and give them big money locking you in to them for a long term deal. When signing extensions, you don't pop in void years at the end decrease the short term costs for tons of players. Gotta pay the piper eventually. Now that time has come. You dont free up money by extending at high costs players that are on the plus side of 30 with huge contracts, especially those coming off major injury and/or with more than 2 years left ln their current deal. This is the result of compounded mistakes. No matter who the GM was going to be for this season, this team was destined to be in cap hell, thanks to the decisions Howie made over the past 3 years, free agents, extensions and drafting failures. The hope was it wouldn't extend beyond this year... but it will. So far it only extends to 2022, we'll see what 2023 looks like, but constantly banking on cap increases to fix your problems is lazy management.
August 17, 20214 yr I mentioned that Reagor’s route running looked improved against the Steelers. This looks like the same release he used to beat a corner on the play Ertz had the drop.
August 17, 20214 yr Reagor, Smith and Hurts all panning out would put us in such a good position moving forward with the potential of 3 1s next season. Not holding my breath, because this is the Eagles were talking about, but man.

None of them will top your greatest quote ever "Ruben Randle is the second best WR on the roster" Look I'm no RTK fan, that said I also thought the season was over when Wentz went down and said so in the blog. What is the point of continuing to drag this stuff up?
