I'll say this, instead of bringing politics into it, find a vet and thank the living hell out of them, buy them dinner, buy them a drink, whatever..  A group of American's just watched their entire adulthood crumble before there eyes.  There's a lot of people dying inside right now.

Bro, if we ever meet up. It would be my privilege to buy you dinner and a few drinks. You and others like you are definitely my heroes.

Just some random comments for people who didn't watch the game and have no intention to do so. I find myself being more annoyed at the result of the game than I probably should. It's ridiculous t

Every time I go to a game, I’m reminded how much I’d rather just sit on my couch and watch. It’s so much more enjoyable, and far less of a hassle.

Yup

Well it looks like it's time for us to be an outlier!

Well none of those teams had the worst starting QB statistically in the previous season demand a trade during a COVID year. So that’s an outlier.

That's one of the best bully getting his butt HANDED to him videos I've eve watched.  Full video is great.  Shrek straight up went WWE on that little guy.

I had a friend in high school his name is Kevin, he was a big strong farm boy. There was another kid named Doug who liked to bully people and dreamed of being a professional boxer (he was big and fast with his hands). One day Doug cornered Kevin in the bath room and kept jabbing him and keeping Kevin in the corner until Kevin went completely insane and kicked Doug's arse from one end of the bathroom to the other. It was great to see and did a great job at humbling Doug for the rest of his high school career.

Do you think that the Eagles making a rule like this will matter one bit to those that are unvaccinated? Some are scared of the vaccine and some are being political about it. Some still think it's the "mark of the beast". None of those reasons will be changed by not being allowed to attend an Eagles game.

People always say that about hockey--"its so awesome in person!"

I dont think so, I think still sucks.  Im sure its fun as hell to play,  but unless you're in the 4th row you cant see ish, you have to wait for the horn/lights to even know if the puck went in half the time

Ive never gotten some peoples obsession with hockey and never will.  After 5 minutes its boring as hell to me and very repetitive, you have to have a rooting interest IMO.

Also, can we just work out a trade of Ertz to the Pats while its convenient?  I was reading one of their practice reports complaining about their TEs.  Well, we have them in spades.  Lets just work something out, Ertz can walk across the field and change clothes, done and done.

I think hockey  is the best sport to watch in person  , football probably the worst , with football they look bigger and faster on TV  , and unis look much better .

Listening to BLG rant about Reagor having a couple of double catches on deep balls where he roasted corners is just exhausting.

No real mention of improved route running, being explosive, etc. It’s the double catches that have to be focused on.

Im pretty sure I saw Quez Watkins double catch a deep ball yesterday and he didn’t even mention it in passing.

Not defending BLG but bo wulf and kapadia said the same thing about reagor I’m terms of the practice yesterday in the BWF podcast. Also mentioned in the 2 min drill he was wide open in the back of the end zone and couldn’t get his feet in bounds.

It’s fine to note it. Just be fair with it. And certainly don’t go on a rant about it and act incredulous that he double caught a couple of bombs. He’s been so anti-Reagor from the beginning that even on his best day of camp he focuses on the negative. He was whining earlier about wanting to see him flash. Reagor did that, but instead he nitpicks.

Yet you're a soccer fan.  No offense, but I feel the same way about Soccer.  And no, it doesn't look fun to play either.

Soccer is fun as hell to play, but I understand if people think its boring.  I used to think it was boring before I tried to play.  Ive only played hockey on hardcourt surfaces (street and basketball court), never on ice, but it was also fun as hell to play.

I just cant watch hockey for more than 5 min. You cant tell what the hell is going on. Some of the skills are incredible, you just cant see them.  They should at least bring back that little halo thing they used to have that tracked the puck.

Well there was a massive concert with thousands of people bunched in recently I think in Illinois maybe? And there doesn’t seem to have been any evidence that it as a spreader event.

I think if they require masks that’s good enough. I really don’t see an Eagles game anymore dangerous than anything else. Who knows

We have had various "test events" inside and outside over here, and the COVID cases from them were not significant.  Sports events are now essentially back to normal - mask wearing inside is "recommended*" but not outside. I have a gig to go 2 in  6 weeks time and there is no mask requirement.  COVID cases are running along without hitting a peak but let's see how things go in the Autumn/Winter.

However, like many, my voice this week has been hoarse, but that's nothing to do with COVID 😁

* asking football fans to wear a mask is idiotic but a lot of clubs are recommending us to do it.  I saw 10-20 masks at football on Saturday; most people just binned it off.

Tbh I’ve stopped listening to what BLG midway through the 2019. He tends to be way more negative in nature about everything after barchard left and the SB win. His best work might just be compiling other articles into one article where you can click the link to the article

If you have a smart tv, turn the setting on that allows you to clearly see fast paced things meaning when the camera has to quickly pan back and forth.  I forget what it is called but if you watch a tv show in that mode, it looks like a soap.  That helps make it clearer when the puck or skaters are flying up and down the ice.

Hard to comment on some practice reps because we lack video.

Still, if Reagor is wide open in the end zone, and he struggles to get his feet in bounds, maybe talk about how the throw could have been better?

I just want a QB who makes it easy on the WRs. Just once.

I was wondering the same thing, but I didn’t see any good descriptions of that play.

From 2018-present, anyone who doesn’t tend to be negative in their Eagles analysis also tends to be inaccurate in their reports.

They're anti-Howie, so the higher the draft pick, the more disdain they get -- by association.

It would be nice.   May not be this year.

i really think you had reason last year to negative from offseason to end. Even this year cause of the cap mismanagement and everything that went down in the offseason. However in 2018 even when foles got hot and the defense got it together he was negative. And even when the eagles at the end of 2019 and wentz basically carried them with pedestrian WRs he was overly negative.

I’m not saying can’t be negative on things but he manages to spin everything into a negative light.

Wait.  They’re are still pro-Howie people out there?  Other than Lurie, who?

It's not a question of being pro-Howie.  Once the pick is made that player is an Eagle and should be given every chance to succeed or fail, instead of being bashed in the media every day.
