Just some random comments for people who didn't watch the game and have no intention to do so. I find myself being more annoyed at the result of the game than I probably should. It's ridiculous t

Still the best defense against the spread, IMHO.

They lost a few key pieces on D , the strength this year will be their ends Coleman and Mathis

I don't know about that.  He had 6 carries for 50 yards.  One carry was 31 yards.  So 5 for 19 with the others.  McNabbs two turnovers are what cost the Eagles the game, not Buckhalter being injured.

Mcnabbs turnovers didn't help nor did buckhalter Injury.

Not did troy vincent being hobble nor didn't freaking Quinton caver failing to secure a fumble on a rams kick return.

That dude was a waste of space.

They get that FR game most likely over for the rams.

I feel like the brigade would be a classic XFL name.

They all seem XFLish to me...so much so that I would stick with Washington Football Team.

Sad that pre season isn't as Intense as joint practices.

I mean from the few clips of today it looked like guys were really competing and going at it

Where as pre season is basically a glorified walk through after 1 or 2 series

I’d like the hogs a lot more if it wasn’t redhogs. Armada, defenders and commanders also sound very Vince McMahon xfl-ish.

I still think it would be funny if they we have changed our name to the bullets

Hogs could have some potential.  Not sure if it would fly or not with their oddball fans.

That would be funny.  In a weird twist, I am wearing a Washington Bullets tee right now.

That's why I kinda like the red hogs. It makes sense for them

Don’t give up on JJAW guys.  He had a good day today and we are supposed to only focus on what someone is doing right now.

I still believe in him… he does a great job at the things that don’t require talent. Like bringing guys the water bottle, tying his shoes and clapping when other guys make a play

I’d really just drop the red from it. I think it would be a good name. I’m guessing someone would get offended if it’s just hogs Lol

Apparently Hurts needs to work on those things.  Oh that and reading defenses.  Because apparently that doesn’t require talent either.

Well reading really is fundamental lol

Don’t forget picking up the ball in the end zone

One of his top 5 plays as an eagle. What an athlete. What. A. Career.

.I've watched them a bunch of times being a WVU and Big12 fan.  Several times live. They are fun to watch and usually play really good defense.  They have been damn frustrating at times for teams in the Big12.

The 4-2-5 is so interesting because different coaches coach it differently (you can attack or play a soft shell) and many do it successfully.

Those who watch CFB know San Diego State’s defense has been dominant for a few years. I have no doubt many of these concepts will soon make their way into the NFL.

Who cares?

I personally don't care about all your special "rules" for references. My point is that good players will make good plays. They tend to look good in practice, in preseason , and in real games. I'm not going to discount what somebody is doing right now just because the regular season hasn't begun yet. Cole was just an example of a player that stood out (in practice) because he was special.

I would be more concerned if Reagor was not making plays, showing improvement, and building chemistry with his QB at this point. If you don't think this stuff matters, then we should just be sitting in bubble wrap until mid-September.

Yup.

The reagor haters which 4for4 is will claim that everything reagor does in pre season/camp doesn't matter because it's just preseason

If that were the case why have a pre season why practice why have camp or joint practices??? just go to meetings and wait until week 1 to let them play.

It all matters, like you say, while none of it matters in the stat book it matters in getting ready and building and learning and Improving.

Sure what happens on the practice field doesn't always translate to GameDay that doesn't mean it doesn't matter.

Reagor has shown noticeable improvement in camp from last year which would give one hope that he can improve GameDay.

Hopefully he can translate what he's done in practice to GameDay!

How is his rock, paper, scissors game.  That’s what it’s all about.
