Just some random comments for people who didn't watch the game and have no intention to do so. I find myself being more annoyed at the result of the game than I probably should. It's ridiculous t

Next five cuts are going to be easy.

I will go back and watch the game with the remote  slowing and backtracking but I am afraid my eyes will bleed.

Some comments

29 year old Matt Leo is selfish for taking a spot that could go to a younger foreign player.

Matt Pryor at RT.  Geez, a grandmother in a wheelchair would have better feet and he cannot bend.  Yecch.  Still out of shape.

Rashad Smith is just awful. That frisbee dog could have run by him.

Herbig must be tired. Needs better OL around him to look good.  I thought other than the bad snap, he was okay at C but next to Pryor, speed kills them.

Kempski thinks Toth is a solution at back up LT warranting giving away Dillard.

I almost get the feeling the Eagles are so confident in what they have in Ward that the only time I remember seeing his was a punt where they wanted a sure catch

Nice to see Reagor and Hightower taking some KOR.  JJAW actually looks good on coverage teams.  Still no catches in PS games.  Wonder if Fulgham is in the doghouse.

Interesting some of the stuff they did with Avery.  Yet when Johnson was in, they forced more typical SAM role on him. Need to go back and look at that.

Tarron Jackson looks like he has some potential pass rush skills but needs to learn how to bend.  But in the run game zero contain.  Needs some cooking on the PS this year.

Kenneth Gainwell was drafted in the 5th round morons.  Two games in a row.

Ironically, he seemed to struggle with that.  No reason to fall down while making that fair catch, unless he misjudged and/or bobbled it.

Oh.  So now you don’t "win” practice.  You were just in here, the other day, bragging about how they dominated the Pats defense in practice this week.

Man. You change your tune quick.  Glad you could see the light.  Lesson is over.

NEXT.

"Win" was never a word I used to describe the practices. I just don't discount the importance of practices or performing well in them. What I hate to see is an opportunity to continue to build off good performances by taking a day off. With the rules in the NFL really limiting what a team can do to prepare for a season, you simply have to take advantage of each opportunity. A preseason game is one of those. I'm not saying we had to play the starters for a half, but we aren't so good as a team that we can afford to "sit one out."

My bad if posted. I haven’t read through the Blog tonight.

Always a good decision.

LOL

Where did I say "win" again? I realize I've kind of intruded on the little clique that lives in this thread and haven't endeared  myself to them, but if you're going to rip me on something, don't put words in my mouth and claim I said it.

I believe in practice. During the joint practice I saw a few of our WRs  burn JC Jackson repeatedly and still make plays when they didn't. He's not exactly a scrub:

I stand by what I actually said in the post you quoted.

I can imagine. Tonight’s game was as ugly as it gets.

Jalen Hurts- When your QB has so much drip it starts dripping out his ass

I blame you for being late to the game and blog.  I hope volleyball or soccer or whatever was worth it.

Actually I wish they went longer.  The Eagles game sucked worse.

A lot of coaches put more stock into joint practices than preseason games. I couldn’t tell you how many times I’ve read that.

That doesn’t make it easier to sit through slop like tonight.

He got Wawa so he had to take a Sheetz.

Dont' call him Jalen Squirts though.

And K’von Wallace came back quickly from a groin injury and promptly injured his groin tonight? Yikes.

So...

 - Hard to learn anything with half your 1's not playing and running an ultra-vanilla scheme.

 - Although, Gannon did show that he can line up the SAM in the A gap when they are in base.  That was new.

 - Williams and Singletary showed up.  Nothing special, but their level of play was the best we saw.

 - Gainwell belongs.

 - Can't wait until next week's waste of time against the Jets.

Ok.  You didn’t use the word "win”.  You celebrated a practice.  It was a really really dumb thing to say.

So  ... let me get this straight ... Saying, " I take this as a positive," is celebrating and a dumb thing to say?

@austinfan is very absent when Howie draft picks ish the bed on national TV
