Tua, already a better, more refined passer than Hurts, threw 23 passes in week 2 preseason.

Just some random comments for people who didn't watch the game and have no intention to do so. I find myself being more annoyed at the result of the game than I probably should. It's ridiculous t

Nah. Fields is a better passing prospect then Hurts.

Low bar.

I’m actually not sure Tua is better or more refined. He’s looking like a bust.

Actually for preseason games quite often the offensive coaches (Sirianni or Stoutland) will ask the opponent to throw some blitzes at them to help grade how the young OL handles it.  With joint practices before the game I’d bet it was something that was agreed upon

Quite right.

Interesting.  He was a factually better passer in college.  He then proceeded to have a far better season passing than Hurts as a rookie (or at least, more prolific), who spent most of his time being a glorified H-back.  And he just had a really nice preseason performance.  So how on Earth is Tua not a better, more refined passer than Hurts, who is trying to transition from gimmicky NCAA running QB to pro-style passer while not actually playing games?  If Tua is already looking like a bust, where do we stand with Hurts?

Not a big baseball fan , but I do enjoy collecting cards of value , so , who are a couple young future stars ?

Honus Wagner. 😷

Not sure if he has his own grading system or if he's just copying from another source but if Gainwell is our highest graded player so far....yikes.

I find it hard to imagine any system not having Watkins being graded highly…

Not sure who else it could be -- he's played more than the 1s

Of course he copied it, roughly 45 mins later. It’s PFF

Flacco for Foles straight up.

He has 1 catch on 3 targets, and he caught that one behind the line of scrimmage.

This was the last solo team practice of training camp

Meh.  TC is far less meaningful as marker of time, as nothing much changes as they go from TC practice to practice leading up to Opening Day and in season practice.

Now its just practice at NovaCare... OTAs, TC, practice... all the same.  TC at Lehigh, West Chester, or for the old heads... Widener had meaning as a specific marker of time because it was a different culture.  Not anymore.  Thanks Chip.

Wide open on a beautiful route downfield, not his fault they blew the throw.  He’s got a lot of separation on those 3 targets.  And those rating sites generally grade purely on per snap performance and matchup outcomes.

It seems a lot of teams aren’t playing their starters much in pre-season. I miss the days when we got at least 4 quarters of the 1s in preseason.

Maybe they did not grade his one catch as high as some think because of the clear hold by Reagor.

After the Jets game Friday it will be 2 weeks before the season starts.  Plenty of time to practice and prepare for Atlanta.
