If they made a habit of letting DBs do that, then Al Harris would have been an All Pro and never traded away. That was one game, the rules however have changed even since then. It's alot easier on receivers now then it ever was.

Only you would equate those as player to player comparisons when they were just pointing out that draft status was irrelevant. 2 hours ago, 4for4EaglesNest said: By comparing their rookie seasons, you’ve essentially compared the the two players. Good work, Captain Obvious. I compared the way 2 players' first season went. I pointed out what was similar. I also contrasted some differences in the 2 players.

Everyone on that list making deep playoff runs too with the exception of Culpepper who only made it to the divisional round. Vick made it to the NFC Championship Game and the rest at least to the Super Bowl.

And there were things people people overlooked in the preview Seriously no idea why anyone over the age of 16 has any interest in these movies. They are so bad. Just over the top cgi and corny scripts. There are actual good movies out there yet you people are obsessed with children movies.

The rules that are actually enforced and the way and the consistency with which they are enforced is what matters to how the game changes. There can be a rule about all kinds of things, but until it is actually enforces tightly, that won't make a major change. The taunting rule has been on the books for a very long time, but this year there will be special emphasis on enforcing it. Is the rule different? No. Will the impact of that rule on the game be different this year than previous ones? It sure looks like it will based on that one ridiculous call we've already seen.

When my wife and I entered the airport terminal we saw a long single-file line of more than 100 people waiting to board a flight. I laughed and said "good thing we aren't those poor suckers"; little did I know what was in my immediate future. There's no signage, the employees are either stupid, don't give a crap about their jobs, or both -- terrible attitude on every employee I interacted with (I don't care what you do for a living; your job is customer service). They gave bad information or no information. We only found our connecting terminal and gate by asking other travelers. The flight was late departing -- which was a good thing because if not we'd have missed our connection standing in the 200+ person, single-file lineup with people trying to butt in every 5 minutes. It was bad. A good airport employs people who recognize that the airport experience is stressful for the passengers as well as the employees, and they cheerfully assist their customers (or act cheerful). Either that, or do it like at Incheon in Korea -- herd everyone through like cattle under Martial Law. They're not polite, but at least you get through security and end up at your gate in 10 minutes or less

They're not polite, but at least you get through security and end up at your gate in 10 minutes or less I always end up asking people that question and I always find it interesting what makes or breaks an airport for a person. I have been in many airports and for the most part they are all the same to me. Some have shorter lines for security, but those airports tend to have less seating and absolutely no food options and I am a person that likes to get to the airport early to make sure I dont miss a flight. Newark doesnt bother me as there are plenty of places to sit down and grab a drink before the flight and being from Jersey I guess I am used to the attitude. The worst airports I have been to is Miami and Nashville (You could probably get to Nashville 15 minutes before your flight and make it, but for someone like me that likes to get there early, there was no seating and no places to really sit down and eat, so it was BAF). Best airport for me was Dubai - it is just top notch all the way around.

JFC Huh? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fugazi Chad Lewis wasn't ever great but he was solid and was a reliable target at time for McNabb early in his career. In the pantheon of Eagles TEs, I would put him next to Spagnola.

I watched Lawrence play, I watched him hit a 2 yard swing pass and because of the superior athletes on his team it went for 78 yards and a touchdown. At one point in a game Lawrence didnt throw the ball more than 3 yards down the field but had 185 yards and 3 touchdowns. Trevor Lawrence does nothing for me. Add that into the fact that Urban Meyer is an idiot so I truly expect TL to be a flop. Bacarty prefers brunettes. I do think Lawrence has had a lot of hype. I have no expectation for him because so much depends on how well Meyer works as a head coach. I mean Steve Young and Brett Favre did nothing with the teams that drafted them.

August 24, 20214 yr Houston released John Reid. He was a pretty decent cover guy at PSU. I'd give him a look. Can't be any worse than Jacquet.

He’s not dishonest. He’s a hedger. Always makes sure he has a side deal.” • "Howie will do what Howie needs to do. I say that with tremendous reverence, but I don’t trust him.” • "This is easy. He tells you one thing and does the opposite. You can tell him something and say it stays with us and then three or four people are hitting me up about what we discussed. It doesn’t make him a bad guy, but there’s no transparency.” • "Why? Because he’s Howie. I would have said (former Washington team president) Bruce Allen, but he’s gone.” Well respect and trust are 2 different things but it's not good. Of course, number 2 is Belichick.

One of the most important criteria I put on a GM is whether your own best players are staying with the team or leaving for other offers as soon as they hit their FA window. I'm not sure the Eagles have lost very many guys to FA that they really wanted to keep; Howie at least seems pretty good at getting their best players re-signed.
