Just posting observations. He's the Jets Athletic guy, so it's not like he's trolling or anything. This is just his first extended view of Hurts.

I see Zach Wilson as somewhat comparable to Josh Allen as a prospect.  Both from smaller schools, both have huge arm strength, both rather mobile.  Wilson is more accurate but quite a bit smaller.  He's a boom or bust candidate for me, and unfortunately for him the Jets produce a lot more busts than booms.

Just some random comments for people who didn't watch the game and have no intention to do so. I find myself being more annoyed at the result of the game than I probably should. It's ridiculous t

No worries buddy, and I'm not trolling. Promise.

I truly think Chad Lewis Stunk. Sure he's better then you and I, but compared to other Tight Ends, he stunk. As mentioned the only ones who dont think he stunk is Chad's family, and Old Eagles fans who want to argue just to argue.

His 2000 season, he was 4th in receptions, he had 69, 3rd had 70, 2nd had 71.

His 2000 season, he was 4th in yards, and one of the 5 TE's who had over 700 yards.

You know that’s been my thought on it as well. Everyone’s saying he’s not getting opportunity when reality is, he has a super cushy & fun job right now. He doesn’t have the pressure as a HC, gets to coach the best young QB in the game, a top 3 TE & WR, and a RB with bright future, while also learning/working with Big Red.

There were reports the Eagles requested an interview but Bieniemy declined.  Then there was another report that the Eagles never did ask for an interview. I think Reid himself even said that so who knows.

I have no doubts my taste in movies is far better than yours.  Guessing you're a big fan of the transformer movies as well.

Actually I didn’t. Also no one Fing cares what your taste in movies are. The funniest thing about you is you think we care about your over-exaggerated self worth and opinions

Since the Eagles won't be signing a lot of FAs, Ertz could bring a 4th or 5th rd comp pick if he has a decent season and signs a 3 year deal else where.

So I'd hold out for a 4th, a 3rd is too ambitious, a 5th or worse might as well go for the comp pick or wait for more injuries.

But the comp pick would not be until 2023.

Also, just because the Eagles don't sign a lot of FA's, it still has to be one of the top 32 contracts in average per year value.  In the projections of 2022 nfl free agent value, spotrac currently has Zach Ertz at 44th.  Some of the guys behind him on the list are LT's, WR's, CB's and QB's.  All who typically have a higher average salary than a TE.

Eagles will not get a comp pick for Ertz if he leaves as a free agent.

I don't have any over-exaggerated self worth to the emb and opinions.  I'm just surprised to see grown men like yourself have so much interest in mindless children movies.

Nor will it be surprising when the Jets win the preseason game and everyone jumps out of windows again on Friday.

Well it's tough when we're trying to win our 2nd preseason championship.   We already have 1 with Sam Bradford.

Such a bad take.  What are your favorite movies ??  Just throwing out some movies, not necessarily in order, my favorites are

Tombstone

Shawshank Redemption

The Color of Money

Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid

The Hunt for Red October

I like movies from all genres and eras, but I do like a good Marvel movie as well, and a good cheesy 80's shoot em up.

he picks something new every week to boast his superior "credentials”. Last week he was sixers czar over everyone. This week he’s now jay Sherman film critic over everyone.

I wouldn't get too excited about Jets-Eagles practice reports. We will likely be competing with the Jets for a top 5 pick.

Sounds like it was a nice day for the defensive line, which is good from the standpoint of the Jets maybe looking to trade for either Dillard or Barnett, or both.

They have a glaring hole at right tackle, but Becton could move to that side and Dillard could play the left side. He has gotten bad reviews in practice, but a change in scenery might be good for him. And I am sure the price is reasonable.

As far as Barnett, I imagine the price will be quite a bit higher, but we have plenty of dline depth and it is hard to see us re-signing both Barnett and Sweat, so trading him now at a premium seems like a good move.

Yup. ZERO tackles while he was here. What a scrub. This is what gives Philly fans such a bad rep, defending a bust of a guy who couldn't even get one tackle in 8 freakin years.

I think the best case scenario for a Dillard deal is that we trade him for a player.  I think Mims or even Marcus Maye could be  candidates.

Howie kinda made it impossible to trade him though. They converted almost all of his salary into a bonus, so the Eagles are now stuck with keeping that cap. Jets or whoever would get him and only pay him $1M and the Eagles are stuck paying $9ish million. So the pick would have to be a really premium pick for it to make sense.
