I mean were the Eagles blitzing or was it just a four man front causing havock? Because if they weren't blitzing his quote didn't make any sense

Well I figured that but from the tweets all the pressure was coming from the line. Doesn't make sense to say you aren't worried about protection because you aren't scheming for it... because it sounds like the Jets oline sucks

Just some random comments for people who didn't watch the game and have no intention to do so. I find myself being more annoyed at the result of the game than I probably should. It's ridiculous t

We Were Soldiers to me was disappointing as compared to the book.  I thought it made it too focused on Gibson's role and kind of minimized the combined troop effort. I also think it made the battle too Hollywood.  The book is great and was written by Galloway and Gen. Moore.

I probably would put it into one of my top war movies.

I cant answer how much or when but yes, they have been practicing blitzes during practice in team drills. In the games they aren't doing any blitzing because they don't want the film out there.

See I didn't read the book. But most books are better than the movie that stems from it.

Did I miss a memo somewhere that stated we were going to start treating trolls like regular posters?  Point, laugh, and move on, or ideally put him on ignore.

That's exactly what I was doing.   Veejer quoted him, so I saw this little nugget.

RIP CHARLIE WATTS

Lord of the Rings is for 12 year olds.  Not old enough to watch Marvel crap.  Just an FYI.

Stange to think that he is the first of the "classic lineup" that has passed.  Those guys are so freaking old.

Great movie.  Surprised nobody's mentioned Jaws.

I'm trying not to get too excited by our young WRs.

Looks like when Quez got hurt. Hopefully not serious.

Hurts would have gotten killed on that play if it was a game

No but I'm not interested in finding out

Even Fulgham had a good day apparently. Skill positions are young and talented. Hopefully at least a few of em can put it all together.

It's encouraging he returned to practice, but so did Tyree Jackson.

Grew up on star wars, yet my favorite star wars movie is Rogue one.

YES.  Well cast.  Simple story concept, yet done with imagination.  Heroes that you can root for.

Nah

He is learning the new EMB cast of characters.  He needs a few days to catch on.  If he logs in on Friday night, he could really help the process.   I'll be DVRing the game.  First home game for the high school, so I'll be at that game instead.

Saw a lot of up and down on Fulgham. I know he had a nice 1v1 catch but then had a bad drop in team drills.

Yeah, if it's on the website I'll listen to Merrill, otherwise I won't watch. My days of streaming viruses to watch a preseason game are long gone. Especially now that the teams don't even seem to care about them.

The book is great.  It's an easy read and is probably one of the best books that I have read describing the progress of a battle.  It is a first hand account of what happened with a lot of very good background information.
