He's gone.  That ship has sailed.  Time to have new retreads to get worked up over.   Ostman was a holdover from an old regime.  No reason for them to show him loyalty when he's shown them nothing.

There's nothing to be surprised about with Ostman. He never made the official 53 once in his career, and he was playing at just SAM all this offseason. 

Looks like Avery is one step closer to making the roster with that Ostman release

Maybe. He's been pretty hurt though recently and hasn't practiced much. Maybe they end up trading him and keep Patrick Johnson instead.

Flying into Beaver Creek CO in a puddle jumper so close to the golden aspens you felt like you could reach out and touch them. Next favorite was flying out of Newark to Binghamton NY in a puddle jumper up the Hudson at the height of the fall foliage.  Literally flew between the Statue of Liberty and the Twin Towers as we took off.   Jackson Hole is beautiful as are the Tetons.
