August 24, 20214 yr Saw the Etienne news today, crazy man. Saw a tweet that said his injury can sometimes be a 2 year recovery. Not a knock on Etienne but I still don’t understand Jags logic of drafting him after Robinson went for 1k yards & looks like the real deal. Had my fantasy draft the other day, my buddy took Etienne several rounds before Robinson. I was surprised. I wound up with Robinson as a low risk flier for my bench. Move looks better for me now. That same draft my same buddy took Reagor to spite me. I told him he was an idiot & he drafted the wrong Eagles WR. Next pick he took Devonta. Luckily I have a $100 bet with the guy about which one of us finishes higher in our league, should be easy money for me

I know the Eagles & I don’t want to fall for the preseason hype though Quez looks the part so far. I’ll see how he does for first couple weeks & might pick him back up if he looks like he’ll be a big part of Eagles offense. I also drafted Miles Sanders

August 24, 20214 yr Just now, Godfather said: Micheal Thomas wasn't drafted? Nope. Since he’s out for at least first 5-6 weeks cause of his ankle, possible issues with the team, and uncertainty regarding QB. He was so low on big board. I had a feeling my league forgot about him so I didn’t say anything about him to let him fall thru the cracks. I do auction draft so I didn’t nominate him for that purpose of bringing him attention. Once draft was over I immediately placed my waiver on him. Jameis played nice yesterday. And if Payton can coach up Jameis mental aspects of the game, I think Jameis & Thomas could have a nice year together.

But like I said he was so low on big board, like rated with the likes of Irv smith jr and Jamison Crowder, and other guys in my league made some real head scratcher moves. So I knew I’d probably end up getting him. I don’t know if I will use him as trade bait, my starting lineup is extremely stacked. I have Lamar, CMC, Davante, Waller, Lamb, and Sanders. It’s a 10 man league btw. Once Thomas returns to the fold & as long as I don’t face any injuries, my team should put up a lot of points.

What's your bench like? I know you said you have Robinson so yeah maybe I would hold on to him

Jumping the gun a little

I remember Mahomes breakout year he had that performance in week 1 & I immediately grabbed him on waivers, best decision I ever made in fantasy. Reminds me in my league, somehow Baker/Carr/Roethlisberger/Fields/Lawrence/Watson/Fitzpatrick/Cousins all went before Justin Herbert. I already had Lamar but I was in disbelief watching it happen

My RBs were stacked that year. I went Charles and McCoy back to back and got Knowshon Morano in the 10th rd

We heard the same thing about Mailata last year. That said, my biggest concern about Dillard is his anchor. However in one one ones, there isn’t a snap count, he doesn’t have Seumalo on his right shoulder, the "QB” is an orange cone that doesn’t move and the DE is not needing to seal the edge against a run and the ones you hear about the DL winning are always pass blocks and that is known by the DL. So one on ones are stacked against the OL. That’s why context matters to me. In one on ones the defensive player may be asked to rush in a certain way to help the OL work on something he needs to work on.
