Keep being an apologist.  If you don't think Lowie is telling NS what to do, you're a moron.

He's not being an apologist...  he's offering his take...  you have no more proof than he does, at this point, that you're right and he's wrong...

Just some random comments for people who didn't watch the game and have no intention to do so. I find myself being more annoyed at the result of the game than I probably should. It's ridiculous t

Again... you're speculating, and stating it as if it's fact...  not saying you don't have a right to your speculation or opinion...  I'm saying I'll hold my opinion until there's some actual evidence that their were better options, or they hired him only to control him...

I made 3 points in my reply to afan.  2 are facts.  Who they interviewed, and who has enough clout to push back.  He said McDaniel was the only one, I gave 6 names.  The fact that an unknown got the job over guys who have a greater resume, gives me and a bunch of others the information we need to know a yes man was hired.  Then the stories coming out about the babysitting they did with Doug during the season, backs up that information.

Starting LG in Game 1 was Seumalo.  They tried Warmack there... and then it went to Wisniewski.

They did that stupid rotation with Warmack and Wisniewski. Warmack started and played for a half, then it was wis the second half. I think they did that for another 2 weeks after before just stopping that rotational nonsense.

Technically, this part is opinion.

Yeah, I don't agree...  who they interviewed is certainly a fact...  who, supposedly, has enough clout to push back, or will even need clout to push back, is speculative...  and a resume is only one ingredient in a hire, and usually does not at all outweigh an interview; that's where a hire actually happens... and "stories" are just that...  "stories" equals authorized speculation (i.e., articles)...

If I missed anyone, apologies.  I thought I caught all of them.

Joe Brady,  Duce Staley, Josh McDaniels, Todd Bowles, Dennis Allen, Arthur Smith are the guys I listed who have the clout to push back.  Tell me why they don't.

What happen to betting a beer on something? Is that not cool anymore?

And I said that you're assuming that there's something to push back against, or some reason to push back for... and you're also assuming Sirianni doesn't have within his personality the ability to push back as well, if not better than any, some, or all of those guys...

And again, it's my opinion that watching the head coach's performance on the field is the true measure of the hire...  I have said that your speculations/opinions may well be correct...  just that I'll at least give him the benefit of the doubt until he starts coaching games...

Can only bet white claws with Bacarty

True story... I had a family vacation with the in-laws and was making a run to the grocery store.  Asked what I could pick up for anyone, and my sister-in-law asked for a dozen white claws... so off I went to check the seafood section, assuming they were crabs in the Outer Banks region that I just somehow had never heard of before... Asked the girl behind the counter... and she directed me to the beer/wine section.

I can't be the only one seeing that Dak Prescott is no longer on a pitch count in practice and wondering how soon he ends up back on the injury report.  The Cowboys could have a quietly bad season if Dak can't stay healthy

Dallas is never quiet, even when they have a bad season.  They still get pushed down your throat.

Joe Brady is 31; he doesn't have any clout of any kind in the NFL.  McDaniels wasn't interviewed by any NFL team other than the Eagles.  Todd Bowles has been retread a few times, Dennis Allen isn't a sought-after head coaching candidate, and as I've said numerous times before -- Arthur Smith and Sirianni have virtually identical resumes.

To assert these guys have any clout to push back against any NFL GM during the interview process or after being newly hired is just plain wrong.

They can have a bad season with a healthy Dak.

It'll be like last season where you listen to the media and watch the action, 2 different things.  Talked up like 12-5, reality is 5-12.

If he struggles with health, can he be labelled as fragile as well?

I would add to this that "pushing back" (or standing up for yourself, in other words) is as much a personality trait as it is a "resume" trait...

If that OL keeps going down hill, yep.  Getting old and getting knicked up.

They were on their way last year before he got hurt. They should’ve been 0-4 entering the giants game he got hurt if not for atlanta being atlanta.

Point being... Dallas is never quiet.  We always have to hear about them, no matter what the reality is.

Didn't they give up 3 4th quarter comebacks in which they led by at least 10 points? This board would go under if that happen with us

Didn't say push back during the interview, push back against the Howie way of his over involvement of how to practice, who to play, who is active on game day.  During my last back and forth with afan I found more than 10 coaches who have final say over the roster.  This entire narrative that the GM is the be all end all needs to stop.  Howie needs to go sit in his office and fix this mess he created with the cap, let the coach coach, and stay the hell out of the way.

Atlanta had something like that. Plus the whole 28-3 super bowl loss
