Looks like the specialists are coming out onto the field. Presumably to check the field or start warming up. Otherwise I don't know why they would be out there.

Teammates do remember how guys are treated.  Ertz wants to be traded... but we are forcing him to stay.   🤔.  Is keeping him going to send the right message to teammates?   Ertz has done a lot for this team.   So did Peters... but they kept him too long as well.   Being great in the past doesn't mean that they have a contract for life with a team, that's just not good for the team.

The money doesn’t mean much to me since we’re not contenders this year. His contract is up next season. By all media accounts Ertz has had a very good camp and Hurts has connected with him in these joint practices .., and it’s important to this franchise to find out if Hurts has what it takes this year moving forward. Give him every chance to succeed.

Not sure how having him here forces coaches to use 12 personal more, unless he gives us a better chance of winning. They gave Ertz permission to look for a trade, they did right by him in that regard. I’m just not trading him for 30 cents on the dollar. 
 

Maybe he plays well early, a team (contender) ups their offer. Worst case we have a very good backup tight end who catches 35-50 passes for 400-500 yards and both sides move in at the end of the season. 

He was going to play but makes sense to pull him

I know that, but the Eagles were always keeping 4 RBs. Who was gonna take it from him at that point?

Who do we think are release and resign candidates just so we can get a couple guys to IR without putting them through waivers?  I think Howard and Rogers could definitely be released and brought back without being picked up by another team.

Because it's the Eagles, and they're my favorite team. And I'm interested in seeing how the backups look. I want to see if Watkins can do something. Or Hightower. Or JJ. I'm interested in watching Dillard. Curious about the linebackers. I'd like to see how the defensive backs look.

Agree about Rodgers. I've been thinking that for a while now. Not sure about Howard. Mullens perhaps, although he might just be a PS guy if he clears waivers.
