Honestly if we did trade for him and he accepted, I'd be worried he would pull the same crap here after 2 years and force his way out. So if thats true he wont wave his rights for any team but the Phins/Broncos/Panthers then great. I want a QB who wants to be here. 

 

 

 

 

It's a very good situation.  Defense is possibly going to be very good. 

Offense is full of young weapons with a good OL. All it needs is a QB to make it work.

I’m a fan of darker colors , I have 2 vehicles that are black , one a deep red wine color , and my latest a Kona blue mustang

I get that you feel its a good situation and looking towards the future but looking at it in Watson's and most other players eyes, its a poor situation and unknown. We had one of the worst teams in the league last year, questions marks in our new coaching staff/scheme, front office leadership and ownership etc. It doesnt help Watson is all in on wanting a minority coach and GM. So to us, yes we look at the possible future as a good situation but in the football players eyes they want the now and what have you done lately theory. 

I imagine lots of cuts will happen today , won’t wait until Tuesday

Miami has proven to be one of the better defenses in the league. Not a "could be". They also were 10-6 last year which is a winning team and just on the edge of the playoffs. You mentioned a team that is a QB away, Miami truly is that team, not Philly. We are a giant question mark right now in all areas. Lets not forget Miami have the minority coach/GM combo which is so high in Watson;s list. 

Ill give you Carolina which honestly I dont think is really in the market for Watson right now. i think they are being used as a name to draw up the price. I think Miami is the real only team for Watson and his wants. Since he has that no trade clause he can force his wants. Would I take him? Yes if the price was right, but Id be scared about him holding out here in a few years and force his way out.

I think you have to ask yourself why their best players have been forcing their way out of Miami recently like Fitzpatrick, and Xaven Howard has constantly been in trade rumors since then. Why they are so quick to move on from Tua who they just drafted #1 overall. I also think that while they have that defense, a QB has to look at those weapons and be a little underwhelmed in Parker, always injured Fuller... just have Waddle who is a rookie.

I suppose he will end up there. I dont think he wins anything with them. Its a historically terrible franchise that hasnt won anything in a long, long time.

Howard was all about money which if Im correct he just signed a new extension making him the highest paid CB in the league this year. So if he didnt want to stay he would not have signed, so thats not a good example of players forcing there way out, He flat out wanted the money. Fitz was a FA and didnt force his way out either. He only signed a 1 year deal and the Dolphins knew they would not resign him. He was a stop gap. 

As for Tua, I agree there. It is strange. I never liked Tua but it is not a good look to give up so quick on him after 1 year.

And you keep cycling back to Sanders.  NFL teams can't build around a RB anymore, this isn't the 1980s, or even the 1990s.  RBs' shelf lives are just much too short.  4 years is about all you can anticipate from a RB in the NFL, and you have to plan accordingly.  Ezekiel Elliott is a prime example.  Came out of OSU gangbusters.  Led the league in carries, yards and yards per game.  Did the same thing two years later, after missing 6 games his second year.   Slightly lower numbers in Year 4.  His year 5 totals were way down... carries, yards, ypg, and yards per carry.   I wouldn't be surprised to see him sit at or below last year's yards per carry average of 4.0 this season.  That's just the way the NFL is now.

 

I see this team as largely devoid of talent.  I just don't see many players are on the roster to build around.  

I don't actually believe they are going to be cornerstone guys. It was a response to the old vets now won't be here in a few years, well we should have some of these younger players replace those vets as they become vets themselves.

I get what you are saying though, as you said I guess I have a more optimistic outlook on things. 

I hope Sanders takes a step closer to being a star, first of all he needs to stay healthy, maybe a lesser Kamara. But I agree on the point of not putting all the eggs in the basket for a RB.

Question is if that is one of the teams on Watson's list.  Maybe he's not keen on moving from one organization that's an ish show to another.  And after their own sexual harassment issues, would they really want him to be the face of their team?  Timing seems bad for that.

I just think with that defense they have , they will have a handful of losses , where they think , if we only had a QB . They have some talent on offense too .

Shame because they look amazing. I detailed enough of them backin the day to never own one. The easiest colors don't look as nice IMO but save time.

I have a black vehicle. When I bought it there were very minor streaks on the hood. And there were some light scratches on the passenger door. 

I used the Turtle Wax graphene ceramic hybrid wax on it, and it did a great job covering everything up, while simultaneously applying a graphene and ceramic coat. That stuff wasnt even formulated specifically for dark vehicles nor did it advertise that it fills in blemishes. But it did pretty well.

 

They do have a spray detailer for black cars. Im going to buy that soon to try out.
