As much as I hate Ertz's RAC ability, talk about a gorgeous route runner.

Still has a higher yards per catch average than the Master of the Slot, Greg Ward... every single year, even in a 'down year' in 2020, it is higher than Greg Ward's highest.

Just some random comments for people who didn't watch the game and have no intention to do so. I find myself being more annoyed at the result of the game than I probably should. It's ridiculous t

Ya but does he have ward’s punt return prowess

The Rams cut safety Paris Ford.  He was once thought to be one of the top safety prospects...then he had one of the worst pro days I've ever heard of.  I'm guessing he was a great college player just not cut out for the NFL.

He ran a 4.9 40 and had a 29" vertical.  I don't think that can be fixed.  It would be slow for a LB.

That’s "can’t miss player” that a bunch here were dying to spend our 6th overall pick on 😉

I mean I hope he gets more than 5 targets in his first game.

So you’ve come to a conclusion based on ore-season games in his rookie season?

For a team that had one of the thinnest linebacker corps in recent memory during the 2020 season, the idea that any team would be interested in poaching some depth LBs from the Eagles just eight months later is pretty wild. But Sports Illustrated insider Albert Breer reports that's exactly what's happening:

"The Eagles are another team taking calls on offensive linemen — their issues of the last few years staying healthy up front have actually created a situation where they have experienced backups. Philly’s also discussed dealing away some linebacker depth."

What "Linebacker depth" does this team actually have?    I mean this seriously.  Who are they talking about?!

I think you're not understanding of the stamina needed for a full game.  Full games require less stamina than practice.  There's simply less physical activity in games than even in an hour long practice.  It's likely not even close.  You just have a misconception that is leading to the conclusion.

I 100% disagree with you and the proof will be I that week 1 game where clearly players are looking slowed down and exhausted in that second half.

He threw himself 2 passes? He really does work hard

Just wait until Minshew is throwing passes to him.  Maximum swag factor.

Toth played LG against the Jets and played it well. He's a keeper.

You can't drop that in without more breakdown... Inquiring minds want to know!

Probably should call doug to talk about some of that creativity. You know we got the Butler red zone play from him and also utilized wentz at WR while hurts was lined up as QB.

Come on, just look at this depth!

Eric Wilson- Solid NFL starter.

Alex Singleton- step above JAG.  Tallest midget currently.

TJ Edwards- limited as a 2-down LB. A high end reserve/ST player

Davion Taylor- can run 22 mph.  Still injured.

Shaun Bradley- low end reserve/ST player.  One of the best things Ross Tucker said about him during the game was he was in the right position, just a step too late.

JaCoby Stevens- college safety, learning position.  Weighs 212 lbs.

Patrick Johnson- College DE learning how to play SLB.

Genard Avery- DE transitioning to SLB, currently has 2 pulled groins.

The other "can't miss player" that a bunch here were dying to spend the 10th pick on, and we did has like 3 drops on 5 targets.

Its one preseason game, who cares.

Don't wanna cut the only 2 SAMs on the roster. Don't wanna cut Bradley who is a useful STs player with some developmental traits. I think Stevens is probably the guy to get cut. With Taylor's injury, keeping 7 might make some sense.

I wonder when Mahomes gets to 57 games and is declared a franchise QB if he will not longer have to throw the 3rd most passes of all NFL QB's in the preseason.

Until he's a proven QB he will play in all 3 preseason games
