The fact that he was the #2 RB last year says far more about the roster construction (and its architect) than it does Scott.

Scott is a guy that you have around for when you have no one else.  He's not the next Darren Sproles, or anything close to it.  He's a JAG, there really isn't anything special about him.  He did juke that Jet out of his shoes on Friday night.  Of course, that guy is unemployed now.  Scott is a guy you keep on the PS for emergency use, but you don't make him a major part of the offensive philosophy.

It's worked out a couple times against the Giants that he was asked to carry the load due to injuries. It's stupid to sit here and say he only produces against them. He's a backup and only gets a few touches in a regular game. But as a backup, he's occasionally asked to fill in for the injured starter and when he's been asked to do that, he's produced.

It's funny that I was mocked in this thread for bringing up practice highlights last week, but, now real game production means nothing.

Yup.  I can't even decide what 53 are the best to keep.  Usually there are tough choices on who to cut or how to keep certain guys.   Not this year.  I honestly don't care who the last 4-6 guys are on the roster right now.  I'd rather guys from other teams.

I hardly see anyone bishing about the RB besides saying Scott is just a serviceable but not special player 

Clement was just a guy, but he made key plays in our biggest game ever. Torrey Smith was just a guy, but he made key plays to get us to that game. Vaitai was just a guy, but we needed him to step up in 2017 because of injury. Celek was just a guy. Agholor, Jerrnigan, Curry, Bradham, Kendricks, Mills, Burton, Darby, Barnett, Allen, Long, Foles, --- all just guys. 

Together, they were one heck of a team.
