Just some random comments for people who didn't watch the game and have no intention to do so. I find myself being more annoyed at the result of the game than I probably should. It's ridiculous t

Yes to both.

Dude, your logic is way out in left field. If you have never seen poorly conditioned teams get gassed by the 4rd quarter, then you don't really watch the game. Nuff said.

Getting gassed has nothing to do with conditioning. It has to do with getting beat repeatedly at the line of scrimmage.  In particular, on the defensive front when the other team is able to run the ball effectively or play faster players get gassed.  Having a harder training camp or playing more in the pre-season doesn't help condition players better.  I mean if it did why wouldn't conditioning during games be a new  issue.

Not sure if reported earlier but I saw somewhere we cut Raequan Williams.

This will be the year that Howie makes zero trades and zero claims.

Probably not, since he already traded for Minshew.

WFT has a WO , Miline a 7th round pick , if he gets cut , I would be all over him

Bucs will be cutting a nice 3rd CB in Miller or Delaney , they can’t keep both , they are stacked at the position

Bills have some dL and WO log jambs

Kind of a shocker

Washington has released safety Jeremy Reaves, per source.

I see you lot had fun last night... Is there something funny in the air over there at the moment?

He’s far from a poor man’s Darren Sproles.  And I’m sure that’s why some people are intrigued by him.  It goes back to the Donnel Pumphrey joke of a pick.  People all argued that he was the next "Darren Sproles”.  There hasn’t been many of those type of guys.  Pumphrey wasn’t it and Scott damn sure isn’t it.

Meh - I think you underrate him.  He's a functional situational RB with some upside to break off a big play.  He's a decent number 3 RB.  I mean he's probably closer to Rex Burkhead but certainly not a downgrade from Wendell Smallwood or even Corey Clement.  It wouldn't surprise me if he put up close to 600 yards receiving in a season but I think that's where he tops out in terms of production.

No.

For the best. I'd use our waiver priority to select as many CBs as possible.

Or at least one other.

I mean what have we seen from Howard?

Didn't he already trade for Minshew?

Howard is quite good in pass pro; Devonta Freeman is god awfully horrible.  The Falcons would have a Lombardi Trophy if he could pass protect even a little.

Howard is a power back. We could use that. We have three other passing down backs on the roster.

  There is depth concerns all over this roster.

Corner

Safety

WR

DE

LB

But you’d probably bring up the 1980 team as an example or something like that to argue your Pollyanna view.

I think the team is fairly deep at DE if Kerrigan's thumb and Barnett's shoulder are ok.

Damn cowboys release Dinucci and Gilbert  at QB position , and Dak being dinged , who is their backup ?

Just some thoughts/predictions for the day.

-There's bound to be a better RB than Jordan Howard available today.

-Craig James and Michael Jaquet were the "best" of the Eagles reserve CB and they were the first to be cut.  I find that interesting.

-Avery is hurt and Johnson is a 7th round rookie moving from DE to LB.  A pass rushing SLB should be brought in.

-We all know the last 2 WR spots (if they keep 6) could be upgraded on.  I HOPE the Eagles aren't to stubborn with JJAW.  They really need WR5/6 to be ST guys too.

-TY McGill flashed but he's 28.  I bet they think they can sneak him back on the PS.  Ridgeway is too injury prone.  DT4 is a possibility.

-K'Vonn Wallace really hasn't shown much of anything.  I can see him being a "surprise" cut.  Harris, McLeod, Epps, Adams are your safeties.

-Davion Taylor is going on IR.

-Nate Herbig is traded.

I was really just implying on cut down day and being facetious.

I’d be stunned at those numbers.

I'd be surprised if he put up those numbers this season.  I could see it if he was utilized heavily.  He has good hands and speed. He doesn't have great vision but is OK as a runner.  I like Gainwell and think he's going to push for the number 2 job.  But I would be happy with a rotation that didn't really put Howard on the field much because he's a much more limited player.

Washington has a deep good defense. The guys that can't make their squad would be starters here. Depressing

I wonder if they will trade for Nick Foles.  It would be a smart move despite it making me sick to my stomach.
