Just some random comments for people who didn't watch the game and have no intention to do so. I find myself being more annoyed at the result of the game than I probably should. It's ridiculous t

We got something for Pryor! Lol

That's astounding.

Newton has been horrible for awhile , smart move cutting him  , Jones has played well and no need to have Cam on the sidelines  pacing back and forth .

Pats made the right choice.  The backlash should be in Chicago for starting the wrong QB.

Yes. personally, I think Belichick made the tough call, but the right call. Don't get me wrong, I am excited that the eagles grabbed Minshew, but it really illustrates the difference between the birds and the Pats. We are a "QB factory", which really values having quality back ups. If the starter cant take the mental pressure of having someone nipping at his heels, he aint the guy. Meanwhile the pats are throwing all their support behind their young QB. They don't want a QB controversy the first time their rookie QB slips up. Two different methods, each with its own benefits and pitfalls.

Posted after the Pryor trade. Seems like more OL trades are possible.

We traded something like our 14th best OL. Would make sense.

Good trade.

Surprised anybody would give anything up for him, but he's a guy who can play 3 different positions and he's big and has starting experience and trading for him eliminates bidding with other teams for his services when cut

Good trade for Pryor.

We traded Pryor + 7th for Minshew. That's incredible.

I was joking the other day about this.  Let’s try another.  Frank, with Pascal out on the Covid list, can I interest you in a 6’2” WR.  We have a selection to choose from including one with ODu pedigree, just like Pascal.

Yup and reportedly the Krafts weren't too happy with him not being vaccinated so it was just one more reason along with a few other to cut him.

Cam Newton is going to cost himself a backup job not getting vaccinated

To be fair, our 6 should be much higher than the Colts’. And it could turn into a 5.

Rounds 5-7 don’t really matter but it’s something for nothing.

Howie is great at trades. Maybe one of the best GMs at fleecing. Flame away.

More importantly, Dickerson an now wear 69 and 51 can go to a deserving LB/DE.

Now, if Seumalo would realize he doesn't deserve to wear 56 that would be great.

Wondering if the Colts first asked about Dillard.

We should be seeing if the Ravens need OL or LB for one of thier extra DBs.

There must be a handful of teams calling about JJ Arcega-Sideline.

I said either or upgrade/replace without skipping a beat.

"Without using substantial resources”.  Hence the minimalist cost paraphrase.  I was comparing that to waiver wire equality suggested by @Iggles_Phan   I guess that your definition, while a bit broader than his, could include waiver wire or even street free agents too.  Both are nicer than my defining JAG as a low ceiling player whose ceiling has been reached and is not high enough.  Of course my definition used Pryor as an example and the Colts just traded for him, so maybe I was too harsh.  I like your definition the best.

I just view 56 as the ideal LB number.  I also thought Chris Long wore it well.  I know it was Seumalo's number in college but just something about him wearing it as an Eagle doesn't look right.

Quenton Nelson is an absolute mauler...he's a great 56 at LG.  Seumalo was a good 73.

I'm already tired that guy lol. Gives full blown analysis on every single player. He is like freaking Gruden every player is the best player he has ever seen man I gotta tell you what man this kid right here when he gets on the field he gets me fired up man.

I was done after the Minshew analysis, he is a decent back up and all and I'm glad we got him but, slim painted the guy as being the absolutely best at every aspect of being a QB.

He’s definitely going to be one of those way too optimistic type of fans in here.
