The Matt Pryor sweepstakes might be the funniest thing I've read on the internet in a while.

Just some random comments for people who didn't watch the game and have no intention to do so. I find myself being more annoyed at the result of the game than I probably should. It's ridiculous t

If Pryor & a 7th could be had for a 6th, it’s probably not crazy to assume Dillard could go for a 4th then yeah?

Matt Pryor has gone? Hallelujah!

Really it's just Cam is a terrible QB.  Only time I've seen him throw the ball well was against the Eagles in preseason a couple weeks ago.

Talk was his trip to the private medical facility for a COVID test because he misunderstood the rules and missing 5 days of practice time as a consequence rather annoyed Belichick.

He’s definitely going to be one of those way too optimistic type of fans in here.

I still read all of your posts in Dwight's voice. This one was right on key.

Yep....4th or 5th and I'd do it. Screw depth this year it's a transition. What happens happens. Dillard is just a guy.

Ship him to the Ravens or Packers for a DB

I’m wondering if Howie could honestly get a 3rd. I really doubt it, but I’m wondering if possible if a team is desperate enough

A fourth for Dillard is not nearly enough.

Maybe something like what just happened with Pryor so get a 3rd and give up a 4th.  We can only wish.

Beat me to this.  Maybe not for a 1st, but 2nd will be nice.

The most Eagles thing that can happen at this point is trading Flacco to the Cowboys and signing Cam.

What a moron

Dillard is such a weird fit as an overaged weekly inactive developmental player on the Eagles, but he's probably still a startable NFL LT with some flaws. I think his trade value probably is higher than a lot of us think it is, especially in light of a team giving up anything for Matt Pryor.

That’s definitely a thought. I think it’s more likely Eagles keep him just for depth this year

Yeah I was making a joke.  I would be happy with a 3rd.  Not sure that is possible.  This is his 3rd year.  He was drafted 22nd overall two years ago and has only played 4 games in his first 2 years.

Just because Dillard was a 1st round pick LT does not mean his performance so far in the league, and especially this preseason/TC, will be overlooked. His max value is swapping him for a player. Not getting close to a 3rd round pick for him.

I'm fine if the team keeps him but I don't think he has a long-term role if Mailata is the starting LT.   So what's the downside to trading him?

Literally the only reason to keep him is insurance at LT. He can't play any other OL spot and probably won't be active all year.

Byron rocked the 56

Last season, when the Eagles had scrubs off the street not protecting the franchise QB -- to the point where the franchise QB said 'screw you guys; I'm out".  There are consequences.

So does Howie have 100% say in who gets cut? Or is there some sort of conversation between Lurie, Howie, and coaches?

I thought the Wentz persecution circle jerk was over...

Sounded like Roseman has the last word. But expect everybody in the building to tell him his opinion about it.

It's not 100% say.  He is the tiebreaker when there isn't consensus.

In certain cases the coaches may change Howie's mind.  Or Lurie may just tell Howie what to do.

It's not Howie just coming up with the list on his own.
