I'll never understand why people hate him so much

That’s not "hate”. He abandoned the city so a university in the city poked a little fun at his expense.  Half of the posters in here wouldn’t know Moreland if not, for, his interception of Wentz.

Just some random comments for people who didn't watch the game and have no intention to do so. I find myself being more annoyed at the result of the game than I probably should. It's ridiculous t

Pryor won't sniff the field for them hopefully

Hopefully but this is the Eagles we are talking about. Would it be the least bit shocking for injury to force Pryor to start, beginning a chain reaction that results in the Eagles not getting the Colts' first rounder?

Colts playing 3 dimensional chess

This is a guy the Eagles need to 100% look into.

Surprised at the Isaiah Johnson cut but he hasn’t lived up to his play at UH in the NFL.  UH DBs look good in the AAC but don’t tend to pan out in the NFL.  That said, may be better than Scott, who may be the number 5.

Yes, but now the odds of Wentz getting injured and costing us that first round pick increase.

He played every game last season without missing one with an OL that included Jamon Brown AND Matt Pryor (At the same time, I do believe.)

Let's stop worrying about the injuries and just see what happens over there.

If Mailata plays LT, you don’t think they will cross train Dillard?  Driscoll?  Heck, we don’t know if they weren’t already doing that.  Was Dillard lined up solely with a LT stance in 1 on 1s?  On the sled? In position drills.  I am not convinced deli boy Gowton and surfer Kempski could spot the difference. Not sure Bo Wulf can either.  From way across the field?  ESP?  The man that tweeted today:

Wow.  ESP with the stamp of approval for the move!

I hope this is the year that we stop keeping older players for special teams value.  It's not that I don't value special teams but on a rebuilding team its not the best use of roster spots to me.  I'd much rather use a roster spot on a young player cut from another team than Greg Ward.  Seeing Craig James got cut has me optimistic.

I've adopted the mindset that we're getting the Colts 2nd rounder. If it ends up being a first, then that's awesome.

It hasn't stopped it from impacting vaccinated coaches and players.

That's like saying seat belts have no impact on saving lives because there are situations where someone dies in a car crash even though they are wearing their seat belt.  Most problems in this country can be traced back to having a populace as uneducated as you.

I thought the Wentz persecution circle jerk was over...

Substitute whatever QB name you want -- no franchise QB will be content with no OL depth in front of him.

You weren't paying any attention to Russell Wilson saying he wanted out of SEA in the offseason?  His gripe has always been a poor OL, and his escape skills are almost unmatched.

Now Elliott doesn't like late round draft picks after he spent the last two days crying on the radio about giving up a 6th for a 3rd string QB.

I’ve done the same. Eases the possibility of there being any disappointment

Wasn’t this guy an EMB favorite also?

Yup.   Everyone keeps saying... "Oh, this seals it... [fill in the latest news from Indy]."   Yet, as of right now, he's played 0% of the regular snaps... and also hasn't missed a snap.  Paradox!

I'm sure someone will keep a update thread going.  But, the Eagles just got a 6th round pick for a guy they were going to cut.  That's a good thing.

Probably already posted, but I liked him in the draft when he came out. Surprised he was cut

I like to read the Redskins message board. There were comments about how he was pretty much a bust, so apparently this wasn't really a surprise for them.

There’s a lot of Eagles fans that hate him

Clearly Howie has a lot of blunders & a lot of the mess that got cleaned up this off-season was his fault, but I have a hard time finding a move this off-season I haven’t really disliked yet.

I thought the trade for Wentz + compensation made sense, first round trade back + taking Devonta was excellent, signing Nelson was necessary, Pryor/Minshew trades were good.

Only moves I’ve been on fence about really was Flacco signing & drafting Dickerson. Flacco has played much better than I expected & I feel ok if he has to come in and play this year. Time will tell on Dickerson

Most of these guys getting cut today aren't good players. Of course, there's diamonds in the rough that don't work out with one team but end up being great for another. And of course, it's foolish to not take a look at these guys. But there seems to be a thing where fans liked a guy before he was drafted, and now that he's been cut they think we can sign them and turn them around. The reality is, most of these guys just aren't good enough. I won't be upset if we end up not getting a Gandy-Golden or the CB from Utah, because they probably do suck.

I’m fine dealing pryor he was absolutely terrible last year. Which was a disappointment cause he looked competent in 2019. If you watch the last 2 drives of the Seahawks game last year it tells you everything you need to know about him.

The level of Shorr-Parks' clueless-ness is astounding...

I would say that a lot of that mess hasn't been cleaned up, but just pushed to 2022.  Already $30M dead for next year, I think it is.

But, this trade was a good idea.

Did Wilson have a top 10ish OL every year of his career but 1? Get outta here man, their situations are not even close

Imo he’s the worst reporter/journalist in the city and it’s not close.

You’re right, it’s not all cleaned up, I meant to Include that part in my post. Still, aside from that it’s been a good offseason on paper

I'm explaining to you why OL depth is important; you're the one who wants to make it about a player you don't like.

Do you think the Chiefs heavily bolstered their OL this offseason just because?
