I just had another thought regarding my proposed waiving of Siposs. The Eagles wouldn't even need to re-sign him to the active roster for a couple of weeks. They could put him on the practice squad and then activate him on game days. You can't do this more than a couple of times for each player, but it would give the Eagles some roster flexibility for a couple of weeks while the smoke clears.

It's an idea anyway.

Can see Eagles putting in a claim for Tyron Johnson and Ha-Ha so far.

Not saying Perriman is great, but JJAW is essentially worthless. At least Perriman put up about 650 and 6 TDs a couple years ago, and 500+ with 3 TDs on an awful Jets team last year.

Been slow for the past hour. Expecting final cuts in one bunch, a trade or two, and maybe them working on 1-2 waiver adds.

Does anyone else remember the year that someone hacked into the Eagles website and found the page with all the final cuts on it and then released it about an hour in advance?There was one name in it that turned out to be incorrect (Trey Darilek) but everything was so spot on other than that that you know it had to have been legit.

The reason I'm bringing this up now is that I'm pretty sure it's all been finalized and the official website will list them all in one press release. So there are people in their office who have access to it right now.

ESP is about as 2021 sports blogger type as it gets. If you read him for serious news, you're doing it wrong. He's not that bad on the Go Birds pod; pretty easy listening for long drives, I'll be honest.

They will cut down to 53 day, waiver claims will not be processed until tomorrow, and the players will be released in corresponding moves.
