Re JJAW…I was having knock down drag out arguments that he was horrible long before most.  5 minutes after he was picked actually.

But I get the rationale for him being on the 53.  Despite a few games from last year, they figured he offered more as an emergency plug in physical wr than Fulgham (low bar, I know).

When you compare him to other crap WRs who just got cut, with JJAW, the coaches probably feel that they know what they can expect from him on ST and they got a full summer in teaching him their offense at WR.

A marginally better but still bad, low upside wr may not be worth claiming from a coach’s perspective.

Just some random comments for people who didn't watch the game and have no intention to do so. I find myself being more annoyed at the result of the game than I probably should. It's ridiculous t

Is he a veteran cut or does he fall in line of the waiver wire?

Best thing about this years claims is the Eagles still sit at 6 in line.

Waivers, only played 3 years

I’d have moved Ertz for that price for sure.

Thanks.  They should be all over him but definitely a head scratcher as to why he was released.  He's a player.

Eagles kept pretty much every draft pick

Have to be waiver claim

Spread the hate from JJAW a bit.

Coutee is primarily a slot WR.  We all know he’s shifter and better with the ball in his hands than Greg Ward…

Howie is hoping to hit on a couple from the last 2 drafts

After innumerable attempts over the last 20 years, I actually thought Jacoby Stevens might be the safety-turned-LB that worked out for us.

Guess not, since he was the one draft pick they cut.

But he’ll likely hang around the PS and will be in camp next year.

Zach Ertz has a higher YPC than Ward.

Ah yeah thank you. Felt like they cut one draft pick but my brain hasn’t been working well today so I couldn’t remember.

This might be a tough year for being an Eagles fan, but thank god I’m not a Texans fan.

Fwiw, I just woke up from a nap and dreamed that we had the first overall pick.

What did Howie do with that pick?

That would have been a horrible trade then.

Steelers cut Quincy Roche.  I wonder how he would look at the SLB/Rush LB position.  He was a tweener coming out of Miami but a heckuva pass rusher.

They also cut Jaylen Samuels, who I always viewed as a good Swiss army knife kind of back.

Ertz and a 6th for a 4th?  I think right now they're lucky to get a 5th for Ertz.  I'd take that deal in a heartbeat.

More than we could get for Ertz, strangely enough.

Should be easy to get him through waivers I imagine.

Basically Ben Simmons and rich Paul

I like keeping the draft picks. Trust your evaluation for at least a year (although Marlon really does shock me because he was straight up terrible).

Man, I was kidding around earlier when I said that he was great in joint practices but there it is.

KhaDarel Hodge is another WO I would look into , I’m surprised he was waived

Just saw Wayne Gallman was cut. He’s JAGy but I would take him as our fourth RB.

The reason Ben hired Rich Paul was to get out of Philly.   Ben never wanted to be in Philly.  If traded to Minnesota he will work to get out of there after one season or simply tell MN he won't sign an extension killing any trade..  To Sacremento?  He may play out his contract there but won't resign.   He wants the Lakers.  This is all about ending up on the Lakers either before his 4 year contract is up or after as a FA.  But getting to Cali is top of the list right now.
