Does anyone else believe that there will be a ton of roster moves after this initial 53 man announcement, then in years past? I do.

4 TEs is one obvious one. Obviously Jackson will move to IR and Stoll will only be on the roster until Jackson is back. Stoll then likely to PS unless someone claims him on waivers at that point.

I cant imagine keeping 7 of these LBs either.

5 WRs is light especially with Reagor seemingly always with something nagging, and the concern for Smith's size.

Its odd that we kept 4 DTs, but one of them has been playing DE all summer long. He seems to belong at DT, but thats just a weird situation. And, I dont remember the last time 4 DTs was enough on this roster. That position is always hit hard with injuries.

Just some random comments for people who didn't watch the game and have no intention to do so. I find myself being more annoyed at the result of the game than I probably should. It's ridiculous t

Yeah.  You’re definitely right.  A. Considering I just checked that box yesterday so she thinks that should hold me over for a few weeks and B. we’re visiting friends in Rehobeth this weekend so no sexy time.   I just hope I’m able to watch the UGA/Clemson game and drink enough without saying something wrong.

Yep. No point in packing your blue pills

McGill on the Covid list addresses DT.

I believe Howard is on the team come week 1

I sure hope.  I would like to have a running back.

Minshew handing it to Howard in the redzone will be a weekly highlight

We’re claiming him.

What can the NFLPA do?

I dunno but it’s apparently in their rules that it can’t be considered when making roster moves. And they already publicly warned Beane about comments he made when saying he may consider it.

Someone asked Howie about this at the PC earlier today and he looked like he just watched someone get hit by a car.

Probably not. But there’s things you should just not say out loud even as obvious as it is.

Why? Players should absolutely know that it’s a factor and if it matters to them at all take the small step of getting vaccinated.

Some really interesting players out there. Would be happy with any of the following (no particular order):

S James Wiggins (R)

G Jack Anderson (R)

S Sheldrick Redwine

WR Keke Coutee

WR Collin Johnson

WR John Brown

S Karl Joseph

WR Tyron Jackson

S Jeremy Reaves

CB Desmond Trufant

S Chris Banjo

S Ha Ha Clinton-Dix

They almost have to do so.  That said, I don’t think that violates the CBA, so the investigation is just a show.

It doesn’t violate the CBA and fundamentally the decision is connected to keeping other union members and team employees healthy.

I was just listening to Zangaro and Frank podcast and they predicted 3 waiver wire pickups by the Eagles — a DT, WR, and DB.  Zangaro kept going back and forth so often on Jordan Howard being back or gone it was impossible to keep up with him.

The only names on your list that would interest me would be Keke Coutee and Karl Joseph.  I would stay away from the older guys; not much sense for a rebuilding team.  I wasn’t high on Collin Johnson coming out of his draft but it’s possible the Eagles could see him as a way to cut ties with JJAW

Speaking of kickers, somehow the Patriots kept that rookie who shanked two extra points and missed a chip shot field goal against the Eagles. Bizarre.

Why what? Should coaches not say it out loud? Because it’s against the rules they agreed to and it’s not mandated. Why say it out loud? Everyone already knows it would be considered even if it’s not supposed to be. You would have to have your head in the sand like some posters here to think it wouldn’t matter.

I like Zangaro.  The game is passing Roob by.

Don't they see McGill on the Covid list or Ridgeway as a vet that could come back next week.  Both, IMO, are better alternatives to a player just cut by another team.

Can't wait for the unvaccinated players to kneel in protest during the national anthem.  Heads will explode.

Some names on waivers that I found interesting…

WR - Collin Johnson, Keke Coutee, Tyron Johnson, The Eagles might want one WR with size, so that eliminates all but Collin Johnson.

CB - Jimmy Moreland, Nigel Warrior (converted from safety, so he has versatility), Isaiah Johnson

LB - Quincy Williams, Christian Miller, Micah Kiser, Justin Hilliard

DT - Renell Wren

RB - Devine Ozigbo, Wayne Gallman
