Just some random comments for people who didn't watch the game and have no intention to do so. I find myself being more annoyed at the result of the game than I probably should. It's ridiculous t

Welp.

Wow no claims.  There are easily 6-8 players available who would make this team better.

Care to name some of them?

He wants in on that QB competition.

so instead of using a 6th to help the back field.. A LOT with a guy who would see a lot of touches(Miles Sanders is gonna miss 3-4 games me thinks) we used that 6th to bring in a 3rd string back QB that will only start controversy.

Backup QB is way more valuable than fourth string RB. That shouldn’t have to be explained.

You really are the Elliott Shorr-Parks of this board.

Another good Howie move. Did not want to draft him, but on the PS?

Can't wait to see the final roster and PS.   At the current rate it looks like a lot of hubris about 'our guys are better than what was available'.   This was a 4 win team a year ago, and it was only in part due to the OL and coaching and QB play.  All of those played a role in each other, but the complete lack of young talent on this roster is real

Here's the thing, though...  to start with, it's very obvious that they're looking long-term, i.e. to develop their younger guys rather than sign older, fill-in guys... next, they obviously are going thru a comparison with their younger guys compared to other teams released younger guys...  let's remember that all the guys becoming available are some team's cut players...  all of it is talent evaluation at this point, and none of it will be proven for a couple years...  they're not putting a team together to make a run at a Super Bowl this year...  again, it's all about expectations for the team in the next couple years...

I find most of the criticism at this point to be impatience...

It feels like people woke up on Christmas morning, ran down to the tree and saw no presents.

Probably the only player I had any concern about losing.

... even though their parents were shopping at the thrift store, anyway

Only one out of the cuts I even wanted back

Preach. Yeah there were a few guys I had my eyes on but still waiver claims rarely ever do much of anything. No point in crying over missing out on other teams' spare parts.

I bet kids who have little in the way of toys would be excited for new toys, used or not.

Howie probably thought he had until 4 to get the claims in.

My dad lives for going to second hand and thrift stores. So he would definitely be disappointed lol.

On that note, this metaphor has expended it's life span...  😄

But, anyway, kids always find other kids toys more interesting...

What does that have to do with Santa Claus?

BOO

When the toys you have at home are of the JJAW level, you'd take anyone's discarded toy in a heartbeat.
