Yeah it's absolutely horrible that the team is improving and winning and may have chance at the playoffs.... Then still have 4 picks in the first 2 rounds to build this team up even more.

I want the Colts and Dolphins to lose every game, but yeah I’d much rather make the playoffs than hoping Howie nails these picks. Not that those picks all being in the top ten guarantees he nails them either anyways.

We all would.love better picks but, for eff sakes we just put up 40pts and people still can't stop crying about something. Like I said before if you like early 1st round picks so much go be a fan of the lions. Idiots.

I'm just happy with it being 4 in the first 2 rounds I never put to much into where they were going to be. We signed 4 young guys this season to extensions and none of them were in the 1st round. We have a solid chance of being pretty good the rest of the way then just the thought of 4 picks anywhere in the first 2 added on is just amazing.

I try to be always optimistic with the eagles.  I had wentz back for as long as I could until I couldn’t any longer.  I supported chip Kelly until I couldn’t any longer.  I will do the same with hurts and Siri.  And right now in happy with their progress over the last month. 
 

I know I’m going to get a ton of crap for this comment but watching mahommes and Wilson and Prescott today and hurts is out performing them. And I would take hurts over wentz all day every day. 
 

itsa trip that fans still complain about the 2nd rnd pick we used on hurts.  Hurts got a 1st round pick in return already just by outperforming wentz and allowing us to make him expendable netting us said 1st

and I really love the "hurts has a low ceiling and his arm will never be starting caliber” fans.  They have no clue just like everyone else. None of us know what he can or can’t be because it’s WAY too early.

Can’t complain about Howie getting 4 picks in two rounds. Howie did his thing there. I’d like to see the Dolphins and Colts lose, but that isn’t as important as the Eagles showing some legit progress.

I don't have an issue with that statement because for now it's true. 

I'm not the biggest fan of QBs running as much as hurts does. However, his running is elite and that will get him wins while buying him more time to slowly build on his passing game.

Yup, and like I said I rather get those picks coming off of a season where they progressed and used those picks to build off of that. Then to suck ass and absolutely having to hit in all.those picks because we were so bad and starting from nothing.

I don’t know what Lurie is upset about. I’m pretty excited about how our run game just bulldozers over our opponents. Get with the program. 3 and out passes suck.

Young Qb’s, given the chance to start on a team with a solid oline, can buy time with their legs until their vision, comfortability, and  arm strength/confidence get on par.  And that’s not to say he isn’t a threat as a passer because he is   But you don’t want to force him to stay in the pocket when he brings value with his ability to pick up chunks with his legs and is smart and strong enough to not get hurt doing it  (which he is) 

he isn’t turning the ball over. He isn’t taking hard hits.  He runs smart.  He’s finding geodirt and smith and building chemistry and are the future of this of offense.  
 

i ride him into 22’ and plan on drafting a couple studs for the defense as it sits right now

I want 2 defensive 1st round picks (ideally a DB and a DE) and one of the firsts flipped for a first in 23 plus a pick this year.

Looks like there will be some good pass rushers to be had next year - Kavyon will likely be out of reach but someone like a Hutchinson, Karlaftis, Ojabo, Enagbare, Jackson will do nicely

What wrong? Wilson’s 13 points, two interceptions,  2 fumbles, and 2 losses with that Metcalf guy everyone salivates over around here isn’t impressing you? 

Wentz is getting the eagles a 1st rdr and the Phins, who were supposed to be contenders, will be forking over a top 10 pick.  That's best case scenario.  The Eagles new HC and QB showing some life is also best scenario.  Anybody fretting over how this is panning out needs an attitude adjustment.

It would be dumb to trade away this year's draft resources for any of the big names commonly mentioned.  It a trade is made, I suspect future draft considerations will be part of that equation AFTER THIS DRFT.  Right now, I want to continue to watch the Siri/Hurts combo develop.

Those picks are really nice, but it's more than fair to still fret over whether the coach and QB are meshing and building into a long term sustainable offense.  Yesterday was nice and fun and we seem to have an exciting young QB and staff, but let's just keep perspective through this season.

Not if they keep winning. They also don’t have that difficult a schedule.
