3 firsts next draft. Can't wait to see how bad Howie screws it up.

Can't wait to trade down for 27 fifth round picks.

I didn't post or remove anything.  I merged your topic with the existing Carson Wentz topic.  Your posts are in this topic dummy.  You get to have your special snowflake trophy for posting about the h

The Colts have played 13 games thus far, one of which went into overtime. So you figure Wentz got some extra plays in that overtime game. But he also has missed a few plays here and there. So you figure he's played about 12.75 games worth of plays. If the Colts final four games are regulation length games, you'd have to calculate it as if they've played about 17.1 games worth of games (the handful of extra plays in that overtime game being the additional .1).

So roughly 12.75 into 17.1 is about 74.6%. That's where I'd estimate it to be at the moment. It's only going to be an approximation anyway at this point since we don't know how many offensive plays they'll have in their next four games. Some of them could go into overtime. But you'd have to think that if Wentz plays a full quarter in their next game, that would do it. A full half and there would be no doubt.

Now we just need for the Titans to win the division and for the other contending teams in the AFC (Bills/Patriots, Ravens/Bengals/Steelers, and Chiefs/Chargers) win enough games to keep the Colts out of the playoffs.

There is also a very good chance the Colts are making the playoffs and could make a run. They have a good defense, good QB, and great running game.

Nope needs 6 more snaps if they play at their current pace. Probably should get a few more to make sure. He needs to play 75% of the entire projected snap count for the season not week to week. If we went by what you are posting he would of hit that number week 1 lol.

IF Wentz didn't take another snap, I'm confident that the Colts' offensive snaps would decrease in the remaining games and he'd have enough... but I'm a belt and suspenders kind of person with things like this.  Let's get the insurance on it and make sure.   By halftime of the next game, it will be in the bag... which means a long two weeks of waiting.

Missed fewer snaps than Hurts... who is 'built different'.

Let‘s revisit this five years from now, shall we? 😉

Obviously you don't recognize sarcasm.   But that's ok... five years from now, Hurts will be a backup QB if he's still in the league.

Considering they are in the playoff hunt and he is healthy I can confidently say it is over. We getting that 1st round pick. Now the pick's position is going to depend on how deep they go in the playoffs if they end up making it. I think they are getting healthy and strong at the right time to make a run.

Yes, but injuries do occur. It's not over until it's over

Absolute classic.

so how does wentz taking no snaps this week affect our pick?

It doesn’t since Indy is on a bye. The pic is predicated on Wentz’s snap percentage. Since Indy doesn’t play, there is no percentage to affect. All is means is we have to wait one more week for him to accumulate more snaps to all but ensure the pick.

As long as he's ready next Sunday... all good.

Just realized Colt have a bye this week too. Was looking forward to seeing Wentz get in the final snaps we need.
