They showed how the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers charged with sedition were integral to the attack on the Capitol, brought there by Trump. Barr said the stolen election claim was BS; and Ivanka agreed. Hannity told Kayleigh to cut it off too. Several Congressional GOP went to Trump for pardons. They're laying the groundwork, saving the best for last. Not sure those are enough to move any needles. I think the Oath/Proud stuff was maybe the most important.

June 10, 20223 yr I didn't watch most of it -- not exactly a west coast time friendly time slot. Caught some of the recaps, Cheney's comments and the video. It was a start, and there was some new info, but they have more work to do. 1. The Ivanka and Bill Barr videos -- yeah, so the people around Trump were trying to tell him he lost. But we already knew about Barr, and Jared and Ivanka checked out on election night. It has to be embarrassing for Jason Miller to be outed, but this doesn't prove that Trump himself accepted he lost and knew he was lying. It proves that either (i) Trump knew he was lying or (ii) Trump is a mentally ill, demented fool who believes anyone who tells him what he wants to hear. Based on all evidence we have, (ii) is much more likely. Trump is beyond stupid and clearly suffering from significant mental decline, and when the last remaining "adults" were replaced by people like Rudy and Powell, he heard what he wanted to hear. It's an example of why you don't elect an imbecile with the temperament of a toddler. The only funny part here is Trump's defense here would be admitting he's an imbecile, which he will never do. 2. Proud Boys and Oath Keepers went to the Capitol early -- In a weird way, this could arguably help Trump. If the argument is Trump whipped up the crowd and then directed them to the Capitol, the fact that these guys went before his speech actually hurts that claim. The key here will be showing if there was communication between these groups and Trump people prior to January 6. Show that, and then this is damning as it shows an assault on the Capitol was always the plan. 3. GOP Legislators asking for pardons -- not shocking. I'm more interested to see if they have proof that GOP Congressman who led tours on 1/5 were in on any coordinated effort. Last night they wanted to portray that the attack was awful and not "a normal tourist visit." They did that. But they still need to deliver the goods on Trump.

OK 48 - the retards in California and NY will still vote Dem Just a feeling but I think you have the power dynamic backwards there. If Trump feels like he's being cornered into not running then he will torpedo any Republican nominee who takes his place. If you think there's any reality where Trump willingly cedes political power to someone else and just rides off into the sunset then I'd assume you just woke up from a 6 year long coma in the past couple days.

The most damning part of the whole day and the moment that really proves how the mob's influence was turned by Trump himself, was at about 2PM, people breached the capital building. They had already gotten past the barricades, attacked some cops, but now a few people were inside, not all of them though, and not the main group. Obviously the police knew, the media knew and certainly Trump knew. Then, 20 minutes later, Trump sends out a tweet not telling the people to calm down or stay peaceful, but attacking Mike Pence and saying he betrayed the country, etc. They show the guy standing up on the steps reading that tweet, word for word, to the crowd. Then, after that, they all come storming in. That's pretty damning.

June 10, 20223 yr oathkeepers & proud boys met the night before...proof that it was a coordinated effort. and they hinted about contact between those 2 groups and trumps inner circle.

Yeah I even remember saying at the time after he ended his speech at the rally that he was surprisingly restrained and avoided explicitly calling for violence. He had still some plausible deniability then. But that deleted Pence tweet removed all doubt about what he truly wanted to happen.
June 10, 20223 yr I don't think they would have brought it up if they don't have evidence that it was planned. I believe we will get more.
