Pretty accurate.  I thought he was the top DB at UCF in 2019.

I'm an OC.  I double Cox and Hargrave at the point of attack.  Neutralize Barnett and Sweat with a single OT or TE.  And let my RB go right up the middle and dare Singleton to hold him to under five yards.  It's not that hard.

Hi, Kellen Moore.

Of course they could have.  They got up 21 and put it in neutral.  The last drive, they turned it on just enough to move the ball and keep the clock moving.

They had 11 drives in total in the game and scored on 4.  They punted on consecutive 3 and outs in the 2nd quarter.  If the Eagles could have done anything in the game on offense, maybe they don't run an 11 play drive after that Eagles turnover.  They had back to back bad drives after the Eagles scored in the 3rd quarter.

Eagles had just had 6 consecutive 3 and outs when they went up 28-7.  There were on the plane already.

Correct.  The very first 2 drives ended in TDs, and they packed it in a little... went into a lull.  Then scored before the half.  Didn't do much with the 2 minute drill opportunities they had.  Scored in their first possession after the half to make it a 21 point lead and pretty much packed it in on offense.  They did enough to win, but I don't for a moment believe that the Eagles really had a chance to win that game.  They were toying with the Eagles like a cat does with a mouse.

If you walked away from the game thinking the defense was the bigger issue, I'm sorry.  I think the defense is aging and has nothing at LB.  I don't think they looked nearly as terrible as the offense.

I don't know if Sirianni sucks but he's not helping his QB.  I really don't think scheming people open in today's NFL is that hard. I think it's much harder to coach your players to execute the play.

I’ve been thinking- maybe Siri is holding a line with how far down he’s willing to simplify/gut his offense. At some point, either your QB can run some version of your offense or he can’t.

At one point I think they had 3 consecutive drives that combined took less than a minute off the clock.  Unreal.

Agreed, but that's a different discussion.

I think it's easy to say the Eagles in general have no desire to run a "Jalen Hurts offense". Sirianni doesn't want to. Howie doesn't seem to want to with the QB's he's brought in as backups either.

The point, the Eagles were not in the game.  Tampa Bay got up 28-7, and were already on the plane.

This isn't the old NFL.  Sirianni is running plays that dozens of other teams run.  It's not a matter of gutting anything.  He doesn't have some sort of secret sauce.  It's a matter of running plays that work for his team.

You guys want some laughs, go find random regular's posts in some other threads.  The solution to all of our problems, Mailata in the back field, at TE, lined up for WR screens.  He would just run 5 guys over and get 10 yard every time.

Just posted here the Jordan Mailata and Tyree Jackson are super weapons.

There’s guys open on offenses all the time.  It doesn’t mean he’s some scheme genius.

Not saying he is, but, I would like to see his scheme, whatever it is, with a functional QB.

I was surprised when Jamie Newman got released before he'd finished his first cup of coffee -- he's practically a Hurts clone.

They got their first look at that type of offense at rookie camp and left him at a turnpike rest stop like a girl on McCoys party bus.

Another game like yesterday and his completion percentage for the season is dipping back into the 50's.

Well look at that, Norman Chad is doing a podcast about bacarty..........

I think it's clear that Sirianni wants a Luck/Rivers/Wentz type of offense.  They were interested in Zach Wilson, not Fields or Lance.

The "analysts" are wondering why Sirianni isn't helping Hurts succeed.  Well because tailoring the offense to Hurts doesn't help Sirianni build the scheme he wants to run with the next guy.

And that is why we have to see Minshew in it to really make a definitive statement.

He has no idea or scheme.  The guy can’t even mix in a game plan that would incorporate Hurts’ talents.  Moving the pocket. Run the ball. Designed QB runs.  He just has RPO with zero creativity.  Little motion. No sweeps.  Just ride or die RPO.  That’s it.

Do you think, maybe, he is limited in what he calls due to the limitations of the QB ??

NFL broadcasts this season have been horrific with not showing replays of some of the penalties.

Ok.  So do you think "his system is clearly working”?    Because that’s what I was talking about.  So since you felt compelled. Come on. Let’s hear it.

I think a semi-competent QB would show that it works.

I'm glad Ertz is going into a good situation in Arizona.  The page has all but turned on the Super Bowl era now, and in some respects, about bloody time too.

I wouldn't be that surprised to see Sanders as the next player traded.  Good salary, low mileage on the tyres, not really featured and someone will want him.

The people worth blaming are Lurie and Howie. Not wasting my energy on anyone else.
