That crap wouldn't fly in NC. They'd be scraping him off the floor.

Actually that wouldn’t fly anywhere in the south. I’ve never stopped a raped but I’ve broken up fights that didn’t involve me more than once. I know that wouldn’t have happen if I was there.

Have also broken up fights.

Had I saw what you'd described, the old pocket knife would be in Bobbitt mode.

911 would be needed for the perp.

a lot of people would say that wouldnt happen in Philly either. Yet, it did. I guess it depends on how many people, and who they are on the train. Maybe scared to intervene. But jesus... to not even make a call?

cell phones are good for taking video of something bad happening rather than stopping it these days.

Maybe guys like Gruden and Meyer shouldn't be fired for what they have done or said but they should be fired just for being dumb AF

Taking "not my business" to the extreme. Lots of families and friends of those people are going to be giving them the side eye for awhile

Jameson Williams is probably faster than Ruggs and Waddle

Wow.  You really think that they are comparable?

Seriously…

Both Bradham and Hicks were solid starters with a couple of very good years mixed in before they were bogged down by injuries.   Although Hicks was good/above average at pass protection, neither of them were consistently "excellent/stellar" at pass protection and both would struggle (at times) if they were mismatched on pass plays.  And a good portion of fans were complaining about the LB position even when those guys were here.

Some of the fanbase has "unrealistic" expectations of the linebacking position, imo.  (For some of the same reasons, some fans still want to run the ball 35 times a game).  If you have a guy like Derrick Henry, sure, why not?  Big back, can take a beating and gets solid, positive yards/gains on most plays.  In a pass first league, you need to be that good to justify running the ball 35 times a game.    Most teams don't have Derrick Henry, just like most teams don't have Micah Parsons.  So since most teams don't have Derrick Henry and won't be running the ball 35 times a game, can you justify using a top 10 pick on drafting a LB?  Maybe...if you can afford to.  Most years the Eagles likely won't.  (The 2022 draft, with 2-3 first round picks being an exception).

And my point is that your "range of Linebackers" will likely be between the Bradham, Hicks and SIngleton types vs a "Micah Parsons" most years and that scheme/development is more important than trying to get a "super star" at the LB position, imo     The reality is that you're (likely) not going to have a "super star" at LB in the modern day NFL and yes, LB's will likely get targeted for mismatches more so than any other position, imo,  leading to "missed plays".

Riders watched as a woman was raped on a SEPTA train but no one called 911, police say.

Nice job Philadelphia. We can beat up Cowboys fans for saying Eagles suck but a whole train full of people doing nothing while a women is being raped….

I'm sure everyone had their cell phones out recording like the creeps they are.

So was this woman screaming or yelling for help or was she half asleep like drugged or something?

Unrealistic expectations? Cripes.

Bradham and Hicks types are about 5 cuts above Singleton types. Please stop limping them together.

And just because we don’t want scrubs like Singleton and Wilson on the field doesn’t mean we expect a superstar LB. My word.

I respect your opinion enough to agree to disagree.  (Not like we have much of a choice) But let's see how Singleton performs the rest of the year before writing him off.  Fair enough?

Normally I wouldn’t post about this but I recently had a baby girl and I’d like to think when she grows up and if she happens to be In trouble someone would help.

Not sure according to the report it happened at 11:00pm and that the police called a horrific act and surprised no one did anything. Also he was catch in the act and when in the hospital for treatment so I’m guessing she was awake.

I read the article and it says a SEPTA worker saw it and called 911 and the suspect was apprehended during the act.

So.... on one hand they make it sound like no one helped, and there is a quote saying that had a rider done something maybe he could have been stopped sooner. On the other, it sounds like he was gotten pretty quickly, unless he was a porn star Im not sure how long the act could have been and they supposedly got him during the act. Id guess it was a pretty fast response.

As far as getting him sooner, maybe he got a few extra thrusts. I doubt the victim feels any better about 5 pumps vs 7 pumps. The damage is already done. This sorta sounds like a sensationalist article to make people question humanity.

It's unfortunate but, people have their own families to go home to they don't want to put themselves in harms way to save another.

I went to my parents house for a family dinner. My father works maintenance for a private high school in Naples, FL and by circumstance the school has recently hired Eugene Chung as the executive athletic director (it’s a bunch of rich kids and they are trying to recruit better players). He even brought the ring in one day to show everyone. I asked my dad to ask him his real thoughts on Howie Roseman. Will report back if he goes through with it.

People suck generally.  If that was my daughter, I’d be in jail.

Yup basically sums it up. You also have how many stories of someone trying to stop someone or save someone and they end up getting in trouble for the way they went about it.

One of the 9/11 shows I watched the guy told the story of how he helped a guy get out of the rubble just for that guy to take off and leave the guy that just saved him to die.

That looks like the knock off one I got for 25 bucks

How you going to post something serious followed by that. I can’t even like or put a laughing emoji on it without making me look like a huge a-hole

Do I want a Wagner, David, Warner, etc. Of course. Do I expect all-pro LB play? No.

This team can't even get a Blake Martinez/De'Vondre Campbell level of LB.

My bad man, I didn't expect that to merge. I should of given it a few minutes. My apologies to anyone that pissed off I didn't mean for that to merge
