Has Waddle done anything for them?

He already has more catches, will eclipse his yardage today, and the same amount of TD’s as JJAWful

Howie said we didn't see Jackson is pre-season, only camp. The writer seems to agree.

I swear I remember him making plays in 1 or 2 pre-season games. Didn't he??

He played a bunch in our first preseason game. He caught a couple of passes too.

I think a draft like this is needed to infuse the D with immediate starters. I'm counting 6 new starters for the D here. Unfortunately with Lanes situation, it looks like RT is more pressing. Penning may be a first rounder when all is said and done. Pickens I'm realizing won't fall that far. We will need more selections for 2023 somehow.

Waddle's been worse than Smith/Chase, but he's been fine. The problem is trading 2 1sts for a "fine" WR.

Yup, the Fins GM really outsmarted himself. He swindled the 49ers only to get swindled by us.

I'd argue that Smith has been "fine" too.  Granted Hurts QB play is hindering his play.  Clearly he's getting open but Hurts isn't getting him the ball.  If we had a quarterback who could read the field and didn't bail out of the pocket with his back to the LOS I think Smith's numbers would be much closer to Chase.

Right now it's Chase in a league of his own followed by Smith, Waddle, Toney and Moore who are all hovering around the same level.  I don't think Smith will ever be on the same level as Chase as he's an absolute stud with a good, young quarterback and an actual NFL body.  I think Smith has the ability to separate himself from the 2nd tier of WR this year but he needs a QB to get him the ball.

Mack Hollins has as many catches in one drive than Greg Ward and JJJAW combined on the year.

Jacksonville not putting Shaq Griffin on Waddle every snap is absurd.

So apparently Howie doesnt even pay attention to pre-season games at all, and then sets the final roster.

Hey look, Waddle scored against a non-Griffin CB.

You are right about the D. I hope almost every pick is D. But I do want a QB in round 3. 1-2 mid-late round OL, and maybe a WR later too- a slot guy so Smith and Quez start outside and Ward and JJAW are replaced.

OT is not urgent at all because we have Dillard and Mailata, and Driscoll has the flexibility to kick out if needed. We can use depth at any of the OL positions though.

Everything else should be D.

Every time a Miami QB throws a pass they get hit. Tua's toughness >>>

I’m liking Kenny Pickett a lot, he’s really improved his accuracy and decision making from last year. Pitt plays Clemson next week, normally a good test most years.

I’m not seeing it with Willis , looks awful too often , and against bad competition

I got them

Corral

Strong

Zappe

like Jurkovec a lot , but he is a JR , and out for year with injury

Armstrong and Mordacai are growing on me , but I expect both to stay in school

What a cowardly drive by Jacksonville. Miami is down 2 CBs...and you're running into non-light boxes? GTFO

Doesn't look like the Jags are doing us any solids today.

They play the Colts twice too 😞

Jax just flat out sucks, Urban should beg USC for the job and call it a season.

Lot of bad football in the NFL

Wonder if doug would want the jax gig next yr with the franchise qb already in place

I didn't expect them to beat Indy, but I was hoping they could put on a showing today at least.

Thanks, Jags.

F*** Nick Siriani.

Shenault dropping two passes. Jacksonvile is such a mess.
