Bummer. We need teams like Cleveland to win and keep Indy out of a wildcard berth.

AFCE: Bills
AFCN: Ravens
AFCS: Titans
AFCW: Chargers

Wild-Cards (3): Chiefs, Raiders, Bengals, Steelers, Browns, Colts.

Colts still have an up-hill climb if the Browns are bad. The Colts' path to 10 wins is still tough (10-7 at 2-4 means they must go 8-3).

No Hunt or Chubb either. Thursday games are the worst.

All they got left is top 3 TE David Njoku.

in case anyone hasn’t noticed, Derrick Henry could become one of the best running backs in NFL history.  He has it all.  Huge back, nearly impossible to bring down one on one, great speed and the best stiff arm in the NFL.  If he can do it for 4-5 more years, easily a first ballot Hall of Famer.

To be first ballot easily he'd need upward of 15,000 career rushing yards.  Yeah, it would take at least 5 more dominant seasons -- perhaps 6-7.  It will all depend on how his body endures the multitude of hits he'll be taking to his lower body.

Who hasn't noticed? He's a perennial All Pro....father time is undefeated though, and eventually he'll break down, and I imagine his drop will come fast. Just a matter of when.

I think the Colts’ beat path is winning the division obviously, but I don’t want them sneaking in because the Steelers, Browns, Bengals and Raiders fall apart, which is possible.

In case anyone hasn't noticed, Tom Brady might be a first ballot Hall of Famer if he can string together another 2 to 3 good years.

again, you want the Colts to get a wild card.

If theyre out of the playoff race, Wentz sits

Titans have:

Chiefs

@Colts

@Rams

Saints

Texans

@NE

Jags

@Pitt

49ers

Dolphins

@Texans

They're such a strange team that seems to play to the level of their competition. Hard to pin down how they'll do, but I'd guess right around 10-11 wins.

How are you so thick that you still don't understand, when day after day people explain it to you. The Colts are very likely in position going into December to be in the wild card race. Wentz will hit his snap count (so long as he stays healthy) long before they're mathematically eliminated.

For sure. Colts play the Raiders in Indy - Game 15. IMO, that could be a sneaky WC spot.

Bless you for taking the time to explain the obvious rather than to dismiss it offhand with a simple "lol” like me.

Richard Rodgers to PS. Jackson and Wallace on IR-return.

The funny part is most mock drafts and simulators still have the Eagles with that pick in the 2nd round.  I guess they'll leave it that way until the snap count officially is reached.

Dick Rod. Woo hoo.

Looking forward to the beginning of the Tyree Jackson era.

Exactly.  But, the NFL keeps trotting them out there because of the cash it generates, not because they care about the health of the players.   Maybe if they had a bye week before Thursday, they could argue that they aren't just squeezing as much as they can from that cash cow.  As it is... they are just hypocrites.

Nope, these guys know more then the professionals do

It’s because he hasn’t triggered the snap percentage yet, not because they project the Colts to bench Wentz for five games because they’re two games out of a playoff spot.

Curious to see which two players are cut for Wallace and Jackson. You think it'd be time to get away from 7 LB'ers who are all JAGS. Guessing McCain is the other guy.

College football spread in the desert.

Cards -17.5 over the Texans.

There are at 52 with Goedert still on the Covid list.

It should be McCain and Jack Anderson, now that Lane is back.

Unless he shows enough to cut Opeta.

Anderson is the backup C, although I suppose Herbig could always fill the role.

Not going to get into the first ballot, second ballot stuff, but what Henry has done right now has almost planted him in the HoF.  2k+ yards is a rare feat.  A couple more 1k+ seasons and he's a shoo-in.  10k total rushing yards, 4 rushing titles... that's likely the threshold while having a 2k season already on the books.  That would be a HUGE upgrade over what Gale Sayers put up in his brief, injury shortened career.  (4.6k+ and only 2 rushing titles).  Terrell Davis, 7k+ and only 1 rushing title.  Henry is well on his way to the HoF.
