again, you want the Colts to get a wild card.

If theyre out of the playoff race, Wentz sits

This is a foolish take.  You think they are going to be out of the WC race before week 13?   That's when they'd have to sit him to stop the snap count.

The funny part is most mock drafts and simulators still have the Eagles with that pick in the 2nd round.  I guess they'll leave it that way until the snap count officially is reached.

Yes, it is officially a 2nd rounder until the threshold is passed.

Sirianni said the Jacksonville game spurred a lot of thought on offense and defense.

No idea what that means, but please don't follow Urban, Nick.

I would have used bold instead of italics there.  IMO, italics is more used to separate/distinguish rather than emphasize.

Always happy to help.

It’s because he hasn’t triggered the snap percentage yet, not because they project the Colts to bench Wentz for five games because they’re two games out of a playoff spot.

You can tell who didn't pass grade 3 math quite easily.

I would have pointed out that mock and official are completely separate concepts -- but that might be too bold

What's the lowest you would take for Steve Nelson?

A fifth and couple JUGS machines.

If we keep him and he signs a decent contract somewhere else, the comp pick might be a better return -- even if it's for a year out.

I think Kempski is right here. A 4th for Nelson is a no-brainer. Miles for a 3rd, I'd probably do that too. I have no idea how the league views Dillard, but I wouldn't trade a playable LT for any less than a 3rd.

Considering the depth of this draft class, I’d be happy with a 5. Anything lower, I suspect it’s more about cap space or McPhearson showing well in practice.

Saw this figured I’d post it since the nfl apparently knew in June 2021 and didn’t say anything to the raiders til October

Don't know what Raiders could do but they were definitely screwed by the league

I had no idea he was 27

When Jags had 5 seconds left and clocked it

If only they had a machine that handed out Jugs

He sat on the market for months and the best he got was $3M which would net a 7th. I don't think that's likely. Plus we'll probably sign some other cheap guy that would end up canceling him out.

In case anyone hasn't noticed, Tom Brady might be a first ballot Hall of Famer if he can string together another 2 to 3 good years.

Unless they keep him out for cheating.

Maybe, he hasn’t beaten Jake Plummer or BDN, yet.

They won't

What would kind of contract would he need to sign in order to get back equivalent to a 5th round pick in the 2022 draft?  That's on par with a 4th round comp pick, given the delay in getting it back, and would be at the end of the round, rather than the pick being somewhere in the middle of the round.   And I don't see him getting a contract on par with a 4th round comp pick, considering he was a UFA this past year and had to come to the Eagles for a tiny contract because no one else wanted to sign him.   With that said, I doubt a team would be willing to give up a 5th round pick for him now, unless they lost their starting CB for the season.  Even then... a 5th is likely more than a team would give up for him.   I'd take it in a heartbeat though.   I'd even take a swap... 5th round pick in exchange for a 7th plus Nelson.

I'm amazed no one asked Nick about Hurts constantly leaving the pocket early and rolling to the right. Or his footwork still being a problem

Not sure what's so thought provoking about that

You think we could throw Howie in as a late addition? Maybe some team would buy into his executive of the year award.

Yup.  The comp pick formula doesn't cancel out just for contracts of equal weight.  You need to have a net loss of players overall to be involved in the formula.  The comp pick thing is great and all, but this fanbase can't bank on it, because in general, Howie doesn't seem to care about it.

Not sure. He was also asked again about it and he said he wouldn't get into specifics on record so it seems there's more
