Wentz was an Eagle for 5 years and never won a playoff game and only played in one,. Is he better than he played last year? Of course. But he’s also injury prone and he’s already inching close to 30 since he came out of college older than most. Getting rid of him wasn’t the wrong answer, the Eagles have a lot of problems and need to get a lot of crap straightened out before they even can think of contending again.

It starts with Lurie getting his head out of his ass.

This is the first time I’ve watched Wentz play with Colts. My emotions are discombobulated

LMAO ok that Wentz int brings back some memories

classic Wentz there

There is the Carson Wentz factor from last year that every one forgets.

Wentz lol

In other news, if the Colts lose the Eagles could potentially have the 7th overall pick, in addition to the 2nd and 6th

Imagine what our record would be with Jefferson and Chinn instead of Reagor and Hurts

And Asante Samuel Jr or Trevor Moehrig instead of Dickerson.

Now there's stupid Wentz. That makes me feel a tiny bit better lol.

What a horrific play by Wentz. Tua-level bad.

Lmao

Wentz goes from hero to zero so fast

Haven't caught any dolphins games. Is he really that big a bust already?

This game is as ugly as the weather

Both teams are throwing way too much in this rain.

He’s not as bad as everyone says, but makes some pretty bone headed plays. Similar to Wentz there. He had some nice throws on the comeback drive against Atlanta today

You could make a debate of Hurts over Tua, and with one being a top 5 pick, that’s pretty bad.

I'd still take Wentz, his sometimes bonehead plays and his fumble issues over Hurts.

I’m not a tua fan but their coaching really doesn’t help him either. Gesicki is really good and they refused to go to him earlier in the game. They finally do once they get behind. Ditto with gaskin. They keep trying Malcolm brown and Ahmed who both are jags. Gaskin isn’t great but he’s far superior over those two and gives them a homerun threat in the pass and run game.

I've watched most of their last 2 games since we weren't in their time slot. Tua has drives where he looks good, and seems to move with ease, then he has the boneheaded back breaking play.

Many people had way too high a value on Hurts ability to play QB.  It happens alot, people get enamored with a QB who can run, often forgetting about the other things QB's need to do 95% of the time.

Gesicki is a baller. Potential to be top 5 at TE. Also Parker has showed he can play too. It’s not like they are lacking weapons, especially if Waddle develops into something. The OL has problems too

I reiterate I am not a tua fan but you got a remember he came off the hip injury last year so he was still working through that and was a rookie in a pandemic. he’s going to make mistakes and frankly don’t think he’s going to be a high end starter in the league but their coaches don’t help and down to just Mack hollins, Preston Williams and Waddle at WR.

Another dumb throw by wentz

Wentz has been lucky tonight so far, so many possible interceptions.
