Or a historically deep RB draft the year Howie traded up for Donnell pumphrey...

*Super Bowl Champion Donnel Pumphrey

I forgot about that one. Thanks for the reminder.

Well that answers it. That draft was a success.

Thankfully we didn’t waste a 5th and a 1st on two other ones. And one who’s been a massive disappointed compared to the guy drafted right behind him.

Makes absolutely zero sense to do this.

I’ve mentioned this several times, that’s Cedric Thornton’s old spot, he’s 290lbs.    You can’t fault Sweat, he’s at least 45-50 lbs light.

Not great.

What has Watkins done? Does he even have a TD catch this season?

Does he have a QB?

Two of you get it.

The statement exists outside of Howie's ineptitude.

Seriously. The guy has one good game against San Francisco (actually one big catch) and now he’s the next Jerry Rice.

Interesting tidbit though.  Eagles are 5-5 on 2 point conversions.  That says something about the coaching staff, IMO.

Somehow Hurts has actually been very good in the RZ, that's his one positive.  Shockingly it's also been with his arm!

Yes. The defensive line has players. They're not being used properly and they're not playing with proper technique. Coaching players to play a defense a certain way makes a big difference. Everything we do is sloppy. It's the players, and it's poor coaching as well.

Of course they aren’t, for the past 5 seasons they had one job, now they’re being asked to read & react, play 2 gaps sometimes while getting double teamed, pushed back 3 yards to our vaunted linebackers, who for whatever reason, don’t help until Cox is stepping on their feet backpedaling.

Does anyone else miss Joe Flacco?

No. Does that make Watkins a hit though? Does Reagor and the rest of the WRs a hit since the QB play is bad?

As the chairman of the flocking for flacco fan club i do.

The D line has one player, Hargrave.

Barnett is useless, and sweat is a situational pass rusher forced Into a starters role due to injury.

While I agree Cox is being misused at times the times he's given single blocks and had opportunities to be aggressive he hasn't, sure he still sees his fair share of double teams and when he doesn't he hasn't done much with those opportunities.

Cox can whine about Gannon not using him properly yet again when Cox has had one on one opportunities he hasn't done much with them.

In the back 7 or 8 slay Nelson and Maddox are ok.

The safeties the LBs are easily the worst in the league talent wise.

Thats 4 guys with talent playing well, hargrave slay Nelson Maddox 1 player with talent not playing well Cox and 7 guys with not much talent not playing at or above their talent level

That's way too many guys without any talent to be able to have any kind of consistent cohesive defensive effectiveness.

Hurts is killing me in fantasy. He’s a points hog with his legs and can’t get it to wide open DeVonta. I’m losing games because of this turd (Hurts).

He's been trolling us all these years

Thats horrendously stupid, right after I posted how Gannon's schemes aren't as bad as his crappy players.

Maybe if the safeties weren't 40 yards off the ball or the D had at least one competent LB one wouldnt use a DT to cover a RB on an outlet route that raiders were continually picking up 10 plus yards on.

Feels like we're in some parallel universe where we intentionally hired the worst possible coaches. But this is very much real.

I saw your reply, which is right, Cox hasn’t played well, then that Tweet showed up, lol.   It’s a perfect storm of ineptitude on defense, I think we can all agree on that.

What people are missing is that this was an adjustment.  Gannon saw that Singleton couldn't cover a RB, so he put Cox in the position to do that.   Worked a charm.
