Drafting Kamara does what to the draft the following year? Does everything fall into the same exact place because now Kamara is on the Eagles and the Saints have someone else? That one draft pick could have a long term effect on all other draft picks going forward.

What I said was snarky because it is. Everyone thinks that they can draft better then the team they root for but they are only looking at the college football players as pieces. They rarely look at the full set.

Would Metcalf have been even close to the same player he is with Carson Wentz/Jalen Hurts throwing to him with the offensive scheme that the Eagles run? Would he get free on all those long routes in the beginning of the career with a collapsing offensive line and jittery QB play? Would he have the mental makeup to continue to get better when the Philly media and fans roast him when he has a bad game?

Would Jefferson be the player he is if he was counted on to be the #1 target coming out of the gate right away? Would he still play that way on a team that doesnt run the ball like Minnesota and where he is the second option behind an all star WR in Theilen?

Without solid QB play neither one of these WRs would have made a lick of difference.

Same thing as the Earl Thomas/BG debate.  Would Earl Thomas have had access to the PEDs here?

Or are the coaches limiting what they're asking him to do because it's all he can do ?

If eagles insist on running a dumbed down college offense for hurts then yeah they'll get the same results, and if hurts can't run an actual NFL offense then eagles need someone who can.

Coincidentally the eagles first drive against LV was more traditional under center drop back roll outs designed running plays and eagles marched down the field and scored.

The they went back to RPO offense and nothing until 4 qtr defense playing prevent.

my guess is the game plan on offense is what the coaches feel Jalen can handle, that asking him to do more would be even more disasterous.

Now they may just be that incompetent, but I have seen enough of Jalen doing things like throwing it out of bounds on a free play, or on 4th down, bailing on a good pocket when you have wide open WR's down field to throw to etc.... to make a judgement on Jalens football IQ and his inability to run a pro offense.

I thought Daboll was the one who told them no, but maybe he did that with everyone.  Staley had Herbert in LA, in a brand new stadium, seems like an easy choice.

Just freaking give Hurts the Phil Rivers offense then. Whatever. I will have an aneurysm if this RPO garbage doesn't stop.

No. Does that make Watkins a hit though? Does Reagor and the rest of the WRs a hit since the QB play is bad?

Watkins looks like a receiver with potential.  He has made some big plays.  For a 6th round pick, he looks promising.  Not a hit yet in terms of being a proven starter.

Were they asking him to not throw it to open receivers, or to leave a perfectly sound pocket?  Short arm throws?  Ignore 2/3 of the field?

I mean Staley didn't have to move to take the Chargers job and it was a great situation beyond just the QB.  They have a talented and young defense.  They have proven receivers.  The team just isn't missing much in way of talent to be a contending team.

I mean probably.

They ask him to do a lot anyway, with all the RPOs, etc.  They should ask him to do less.

Were those 2 little tires he dodged Singleton and Wilson?

I think replacing Wilson with a stationary tire would be an upgrade.

I'd be fine if they were just runs instead of RPOs.

Exactly what did Jalen Hurts do to earn a vote for eitehr the Ground or Air Player of the Week?

This makes me sick, and I am already sick.  Any more self-promoting tweets from these dweebs need a spoiler tag for the sake of all.  I want to see him in the film room grinding on some film to learn how to get through progressions.  I want to see him working through footwork drills in the pocket and throwing to targets.    These are RB drills he's doing.  Yes, he had one where he was throwing as he rolled to his right.  Hmmmm... maybe try throwing while rolling left.  Or throwing from the pocket.   I'm guessing he's getting a kick back from FedEx for the ad.

Yup.

Hurts can't run that offense but heck let him sink or swim then at least one could move on when shows he can't.

I was willing to give hurts a chance and let him grow and learn and after about week 5 I was pretty convinced he's not getting better and isn't the answer.

I do t know I Minshew is and one won't know if one keeps lettingg hurts show he's not.

When then the staff must be retarded as well since right now in 2021, there’s about 4-5 different offensive systems being used in college and the NFL, and most of it is Air Raid, which means stripped down version of the West Coast offense, especially in the terminology, from spread formations, no huddle, some huddle, RPO heavy offense

Mike Leach is a hero my ass, him and his buddy were too lazy to read Bill Walshes 727 page playbook on first down offense with split backs.

They're asking him to be late on literally every single throw and then throw it at the WRs feet from 10 yards away?

These people need to stop the f'ing charade and just tell the truth, he sucks.  No, hes not doing what theyre asking him to do.

It's an unfair comparison because it is 20 games versus 11.
