I’m all for it.  I’m just telling you. NS don’t have a say.

I agree.  Hurts will be benched when Lurie says so.

If Lurie wants someone presently in the NCAA, draft-eligible, as our next franchise QB, then Howie will draft him.

If Lurie wants Watson, then Howie will package everything necessary.

If Lurie wants to wait until 2023 draft, then we'll do that too.

He sounded like a pop warner coach today. I wonder if he will hand out orange slices after practice.

I miss those, in high school we soaked them in Vodka, but we got caught when some idiot used Gin, good times.

Bengals defense is going to obliterate the jets this weekend with white out there.

I hope so.  Streaming them in 3 fantasy leagues.

I would like to congratulate Sirianni for making me actually miss when he would just keep shouting dog mentality.  That was better.

The quarterback class looking mediocre doesn't mean the entire draft is weak. If 'Mr. Quarterback Factory' can exercise some restraint this draft could be fine. It's not like the Eagles are a Quarterback away.

Are you sure?  The RPO could function much better with the right QB:

What a hideous hoodie.

Quotes, analogies, etc. in a press conference doesn't matter.

I am as well.  Would have done it in 4, but @4for4EaglesNest beat me to them in the blog league.    Jerk.......

I'm sincerely wondering two things...

1. Has Sirianni ever told any of his players to "be a goldfish"?

2. Would we be better off with this staff?

Ugh...  I don't want to dislike Sirianni... but I don't want to listen to him talk.

Meanwhile, Bobby Boucher would be better than our current starting LBs.

I guess you missed the "I did this today in team meetings" part.

That’s how i feel. I’m sure he’s a nice guy. And likely understands football to a point where he’s likely a good WR coach or even OC. But him talking makes it worse and worse and it’s obvious he isn’t and wasn’t ready to be a HC when we hired him. Sadly he might never be. I’m hoping he gets better along the way but it’s gotten worse

Doh.

Not talked about enough with the whole coaching search was the fact the Eagles were dumb enough to wait an entire week to fire Doug to start their search.  So they were already behind everybody else in their coaching search. For instance Smith wasn’t going to wait around when the Falcons offered him that head coaching job. Not that he would take the Eagles job, eagles wanted or that he was a great candidate but being a week behind everyone makes it that much harder if you did want him.

What didn’t make sense to me was the week of waiting was supposedly the time needed to see if Doug was willing to change his mind on how the team approached the rebuild. They should have had those talks when we were officially eliminated against Dallas, with the understanding they’d revisit the topic on black Monday a week later. It wasn’t like prepping for Washington was high priority, especially since they were ok losing that game anyway.

Hurts racks up fantasy points because he functions as our starting QB and our starting RB.

In light of Siriani's gardening reference,  Gardner Minshew has quite a name.  Ironically, he is not being given the chance to blossom.

yet. They should give Hurts a reasonable audition, not 7 games. But if it were up to me I'd want to make sure minshew isn't worth considering before burning 1st round picks
