The more things change, the more they stay the same.

It would be pretty cool if the Eagles had back to back first round picks. They could hold the draft hostage for 30 mins

20. 1st round is 10 minutes.

Hurst has to lead the league in the fraction of completions less than 5 yards from the line of scrimmage.

Doesn’t it reset when it goes back? I figured if they pick 9 and 10, they let pick 9 pass and then pick 10 is on the clock. Pick 10 is made after 20 mins, and then pick 9 is back on the clock for another 10 mins.

You mean Eagles fans.

How did I miss a 40+ yard pass. Any idea when that was?

Lots of teams got their 3rd win today.

From my understanding, if 9's time expires, 10 goes on the clock, but 9 can still turn in a pick. If 10's time expires too, I can't see 9 going back on the clock, 11 would go on the clock.

I think that was the one he threw out of bounds after scrambling..... wait for it.....    to his right.   It was near the goalline that he threw that one, if its the one I am thinking of.

They don’t chart out of bounds throws.

Right but my scenario is 10 makes the pick just at the last second, so it goes back to 9. I don’t know why I’m thinking about this btw

Nope.  9 is skipped and can turn in their pick at any time, but 11 goes on the clock.

I'm not aware of a scenario where a team early in the order goes back on the clock. I know I heard many years back that if time expires, the next team is up, but the team who ran out of time can still turn in a pick at any time.

Hasn't Hurts already won us more games this year than Wentz did all of last year?

I think hurts has been better than people give him credit for and certainly not losing us games like wentz was.

Our defense has been so bad in every loss this year giving up scores on every drive. How can you expect any an to win without a defense that can make a couple stops?

Its mind boggling that week after week hurts pass chart looks like this, all passes to the right with a bunch behind the LOS.

It's only sustainable if they can rush for 200+ yards every game.

It's more astonishing that teams just haven't shut down that side of the field and forced him to go elsewhere???

It baffles me that anyone could have that inept an opinion, but here we are

Ill give hurts that, he hasn't made mind numbingly stupid mistakes that lose games, his limitations as a passer though really hold back the offense, but he hasn't turned the ball over at an alarming rate.

Which is kinda what you can expect for a 1st year starting qb.    And wentz is a high 1st rounder in his what? 6th season?

9 can turn in their pick at any time. It’s just that 10 may leapfrog 9 and make a selection when they are on the clock.

This happened to (I believe) the Minnesota Vikings a few years ago. Multiple teams ran their selection to the podium so they could essentially have a draft spot one better than they should have had.

Thing is he makes mind numbingly stupid mistakes, they just haven’t been in the position for them to lose games.
