Dallas loses in game 1. Fitzpatrick is OUT with a hip injury. The Giants will be meh.

This division is there for the taking.

If you’re still taking passive aggressive digs at Hurts, it may be time to reassess your strategy.

Or just go be a Colts fan...

When I read this post an hour ago my first thought was "yeah, I agree”. This is exactly why I don’t gamble

I also told someone to take ATL -3

Is it real?

Defense has been able to get tough in the red zone, but they are just getting run through.   Run defense is bad.

Offensively, they are sloppy... way too many penalties.  Hurts is making plays with his legs.  On that last drive, he ran for yards early and then moved to throwing the ball on the move after that.   Good to see him looking to throw on that last play.  Big time throw.   That throw to Ertz early was just bad.   Up and down, as is to be expected from a young QB with such limited experience in the NFL.    I still want to see him progress to throwing from the pocket more often.   Not sure if he's got more than 2 or maybe 3 completions from the pocket that are more than just swing passes.   It's a progression.  Looking for progress.

Smith looks very good.   Gainwell doing well.   Mailata needs to calm down... and watch the ball or watch Seumalo, how ever they are choosing to do the silent count.

Only a matter of time till we take a shot down the field to one of our WRs.  Feel like we have been setting up for that especially with those Quez screens to open the game.

Very lopsided run:pass ratio too, Howie and Lurie must be ecstatic.

Falcons last year were the 32nd pass defense. It’s a good gameplan. They are horrific against the pass. They were solid against the run last year. Finished 6th.

@LeanMeanGMSomeone had as their bonus prediction, they would go for 2, not need it and get it......

@BigEFly

Good half

Well that's ****ty

Chase big first half

Why didnt they give Barnett the sack on the intentional grounding penalty? ESPN Box score showing 0 sacks for us.

I would like to see more of Watkins.  Its only been the 1st 3 catches and then nothing...

Going for two was the analytically right call to make.  Shout out to Howie’s nerds.

Going up 9 is the plus side... staying up 7 if missing.   Almost a no-brainer.

both teams had a lot of penalties...and both teams didn't play starters much in preseason so probably not too unexpected.

It's almost like it was a predictable outcome.

Don’t disagree. However I think it’s the opposite way of thinking that Schwartz had the years he was here. He wanted to stop the run first and foremost. I think in today’s nfl you just have to be solid against the run and need to be good against the pass. .

Fitzpatrick is injured.

Watching the Titans play, the only way the Eagles don't get that 1st rounder is if Wentz gets hurt, because there's no way in hell the Colts will be out of the running for this awful division at any point in the season to where they'd bench Wentz.

I believe because it's technically not a sack, but a penalty.

Not a bad first half.  One thing I've noticed is so far in this game, much smaller roles for Greg Ward and Boston Scott.  I think I noticed Ward in the game three times.  Nice to see Reagor in at PR too.  He saved the Eagles 20 yards on the one punt he ran up on to catch.  That's the kind of punt Ward would have let it bounce and go inside the 5.  Haven't noticed Scott once.  Surprised Gainwell has been next man up at RB.

Heinicke might actually be the better option to see what they have long term. Plus Fitzpatrick is super inconsistent week to week. Could make the case year to year inconsistency

I'm sorry did he win the l.t. job? Nah

Going from a worn out Peters to possibly three starting level OTs in Mailata, Johnson and Dillard is not a bad thing after what we experienced last year.
