Stop with the logic.

The case for Ivermectin for Covid is AT BEST equivocal. There are a handful of studies that suggest some efficacy. However, those studies are characterized by small sample sizes and a general lack of rigorous controls.

We will have an answer eventually.

What if those people got Covid from parasitic worms?

Take from it what you will, either way I'm a proponent of when making medical decisions based off this  discussing it with ones Dr not a radio personality.

People need to take it in the context of a rigorous, controlled experiment.

What really bothers me about all this Covid vaccine/treatment talk is that on both sides of the argument there seems to be no give or take or willing to listen to the other side.  Somewhere along the last few years we've lost the ability to listen to differing opinions,  thinking about them and accepting them.

There's no more understanding that someone might have different thoughts, beliefs or reasons for doing/saying things.  If you think different than me....you're wrong.  I'm going to speak to you in the most condescending way possible.  I'm going to go above and beyond to make myself look smart and you look stupid.  My views are right, you're an idiot and everyone should think so too.

A-Rod blurted out about every far right talking point today.  I think some of his arguments have legs while others are just silly.  I also think that Dr. Fauci has really discredited himself a lot over the course of the last year and taking his word just because Fauci said it is bad thinking.

I really hope we get past this hyper politicized world we've turned in to and we can bring back common sense, dignity and understanding our fellow man.

Because liberals like you want to come in here and talk crap like they are superior when they are full of crap.

I'm not a liberal and it's almost comical of all the people commenting on this topic some pages before I ever did you had to pick me out like some stalker.

A poster asked a question I briefly answered, maybe you think I think I'm superior because I think the earth isn't flat???

Of course.   And always under the direction of a doctor, according to the instructions of their doctor... as with any prescription.

So if the radio personality I'm talking to about my medical decisions talked to a DR. Then it's ok for me to trust that radio personality for my medical decisions???

Next time I have cancer I won't talk to my oncologist I'll just tell him I talked to a radio personality who had the same cancer as me who talked to a DR and that radio personality Dr said that he didn't need chemo just essential oils so I'm going to pass on the chemo and take the advice of the radio personality he got from his Dr.🤔

When I make serious medical decisions for myself I discuss them with my Dr. Not somebody else's Dr.

What's comical is the fact you always take liberal stances and don't think you are.

You try so hard to troll but suck at it.

This was really the biggest thing I agreed with that Rodgers said today.

Well...  speaking only of the COVID vaccines

And again I support the COVID vaccine. But...

I have no problem with anyone who wishes to wait a while longer to see what the potential long term ramifications are to each Vaccine. The bottom line is we just dont have that info. This is why I am 100% against a mandate.  And if you already have had COVID and survived it without issues, why would you risk getting the vaccine not knowing the long term effects?

For me, I am older I do have hypertension, even though I am fairly healthy. So I risked getting the Vaccine to lower my chances of having a bad case of COVID , I weighed the risks, against the risks of getting COVID and having it be bad for me.  but for a large portion of those that get COVID it's not much of a problem.

I have mixed feelings about vaccine mandates from the government but with Rodgers, we are talking about an employer mandate of vaccine or masks and testing, kind of similar to the proposed OSHA rules, that the media falsely calls a mandate.  It’s an issue for co-employees.  I also understand mandates from employers. Most employers with over 100 employees provide some level of health insurance and all provide worker’s compensation coverage.   That really comes down to providing a safe workplace, insuring customer safety.

But vaccine mandates aren’t something new.  Mandates for smallpox and polio virtually wiped out those diseases.  Older baby boomers recall classmates impacted by polio.   We have seen the impact of vaccine reluctance on measles outbreaks, for example.  I worried about measles because I don’t think I ever got that vaccine.  I have an ongoing discussion with my doctor about that.  Born when I was, it is presumed that we were exposed and have antibodies   I just want to be sure I have enough not to be a carrier. We are seeing the return of conditions in those that recovered from polio and shingles show that the chicken pox immunity isn’t forever, so the need for caution is something I don’t take lightly.  I am not worried about me, I just don’t want to be an asymptomatic carrier like Typhoid Mary.

I am struck by the parable of the Good Samaritan (in Luke, IIRC).  If I may paraphrase a bit, it seems to me that those who choose not to get the vaccine are not unlike the priest and Levite who passed the injured man by whereas those who get vaccinated, willingly masked up and maintained social distance are not unlike the Good Samaritan.  For most, their actions were not driven solely by self preservation but equally by watching out for their neighbors.  IIRC, in telling the story, Jesus basically advised to do the same as the Samaritan.  (Good story and great advice as I see it.)

Any combination that allows the Eagles to keep those three 1st rounders next season is ideal to me.

Just added Devonta Smith as a Flex to my money league team.

Hoping he breaks the 100 yard receiving mark and adds a TD or two.

Seems like an excuse for Lowie and Sirri to pass 60 times and abandon the run.

BONUS: A PAT kick will be missed by one of the kickers.

No recoil or muzzle blast, what's the fun in that - probably need a lot batteries too.  Rather go the opposite direction, black powder like the founding fathers intended.

Problem with laser guns, is that the laser will go straight and keep on going until the energy runs out (sorry Star Wars). Bullets do the same but friction from air probably limits the range much greater that a laser powerful enough to cause similar injury at a similar distance as a projectile.  And unlike artillery shots, the laser cannot be shot at an arc thus requiring the gun to be elevated and exposed.  Laser weapons are possible, exist but are not effective.

Would we welcome Aaron to the Eagles if he showed up?

I am thinking the worms won’t like him anymore than McNabb.

@LeanMeanGM

Eagles 17

Chargers 24

Eagles abandon the run and have under 10 rushes total by RBs.
