Willis is a project as a thrower. Allen was way further along than people think.

People killed Allen cause of his play against teams like iowa where he always struggled. But reality is Wyoming has very few players to compete with teams like that. Allen being as good as he was in college wasn’t going to make up that sizable difference from a power 5 school with the talent at Wyoming. I remember schefter talking about Allen right after the 2017 draft. So scouts and GMs were on him for a while and schefter was all about Allen based off what he was told.

Where did we rank before last week against the lions?… oh yeah bottom half of the league They were 20th at 22.7 ppg. They jumped to 25.4 after beating down on the worst team in the league.  The packers are behind the eagles right now. Anyone honestly believe this offense is better than GB?

Every team has a beat down game or two that inflates their stats and usually an off game that reduces them.

Lions were coming off a 19-28 loss to the Rams on the road, had to be thinking they were going to get their first win, we put a legitimate beat down on them, no flukes, no lucky bounces.

Doesn't mean the Eagles have a good offense, but it also showed they aren't a bad one either. They've had bad stretches, but they started the season with a new coaching staff, new scheme (4th in 4 years for Hurts), new WRs, an OL that had a different lineup for the first six games. Given all that, to be where they are is pretty good.

You're not as good as your best game or as bad as your worst game.

Oh, the Packers put up 35 points against Detroit, but only 24 against WFT, maybe we are better? 😄

Honestly the atlanta game and lions games skew the numbers against atlanta and lions we are averaging 38 ppg. In the other 6 games 21.6 ppg. And I’m those other 6 games they have 2 garbage time tds against Dallas, a touchdown down 28 to the Bucs, a 42-23 garbage time td in the chiefs game and 2 garbage time tds to the raiders. So really without those 6 garbage tds it’s closer 14.2 ppg. apparently our offense is elite if we play the lions, falcons or garbage time.

Playing the Falcons and Lions is garbage time.   But, we'll also get to play the Jets, Giants and Washingteam now.  So, the stats will be flowing like maple sap in the fall.

No.  Watching the games shows that they are a bad offense.

This is the type of coaching Malik Willis is getting. What a tough eval.

Repeat after me, Eagles are 13 in ppg, despite all the ups and downs of the first 8 games.

We had an offensive explosion against the worst team in football, and several games where we did little offensively for the better part of 2 1/2 quarters before scoring late to make several games look closer than they really were.

Calm down.

Our ppg against the lions atlanta and lions 38. Other 6 games 21.7 ppg. Without garbage time stat padding which was 6 tds in those 6 it’s closer to 14.2 points. 😬 so if we only play horrible teams and put up garbage time stats we are world beaters on offense.

Willis reminds me of Tarvaris Jackson

One read QB, stare down his one read then if its not there he is taking a sack or taking off.

No Thank you

He'd fit perfectly here, that's exactly what Hurts does.

Pickett reminds me of a Mathew Stafford type of QB

Nice zip on the ball, very comfortable in the pocket, will run but is not breaking away or out beating a DE. Very good accuracy.

Don’t know about the murray comp for Willis. I think Murray was a lot better. The rest i can see

His arm isn’t close to Stafford

Matt Corral Im going with Andy Dalton comp

He is probably no more than a inch , inch and a half taller than Murray

Pickett is the only QB I would even consider in the first 2 days of the draft. Only QB who fits what Im looking for at the next level.

Lol. I actually think Pickett comp isn’t awful. I think he has a chance to be better nfl prospect that Derek carr was.

Yah I don't get the Stafford comp. Stafford 's arm is SPECIAL.

The laziest comp for Pickett is the right one IMO: Joe Burrow.

It really is. His years in college is what makes people use that connection.

So you think Willis doesn’t crack 6 foot?

If you read my post, I said nothing about his arm strength being the exact same. Im comparing his pocket poise/ presence. his accuracy and zip on the ball. Foot work and limited running ability but mobile just enough to move around it needed. Picketts arm is no noodle though.

All they are doing is proving A-Rod's cancel culture comments to be true.

I have thought for a little bit that Pickett reminds me of Tony romo when i watch him play. I know kempski last week made the same comp.

His ability to escape the pocket, extend the play, and throw on the run gave me some Tony Romo vibes.

Normally people talk themselves into drafting QBs, but with Pickett I feel they are going to talk themselves out of drafting him.

He so far seems like a no-brainier to me. He literally checks all the boxes - tall, mobile, good arm, very accurate, extensive starting experience, and good intangibles.

He just doesn't have the wow factor and people didn't expect him to be this good.

Yeah, a healthcare company probably shouldn’t partner with someone spewing BS about a vaccine it’s aggressively trying to get its patients to take.

You couldn’t possibly disagree with that, right?
